I’ve been seeing the tag #breakthesilence about how doctors are treating pregnant mothers and I wanted to add something.
I was told by a good friend about a year ago about how flippant doctors are about patients informed consent. She explained how an OB was trying to force a woman to have a C-section and told her the baby would die without it. My friend explained that the baby wasn’t in distress but she couldn’t say anything because she would lose her job and be smeared in the medical community.
This and several other reasons are why I’m terrified of doctors and have to be near death to seek medical help.
