DISRESPECTFUL TROUBLE-MAKING “SONS-OF-BITCHES” KNEEL IN PROTEST
I spent ten years as a naval officer. One of my sons is a Marine and the other is an Army officer who was a platoon leader in Afghanistan. I take duty to country very seriously and one of those is a duty to protest and resist injustice to any citizen regardless of race, gender or religion. People who take risks to do so, even if it’s only kneeling during the national anthem at a football game, are doing more to uphold the principles this country was founded on than those who have never made the least sacrifice for this nation and wrap themselves in the flag. That includes a “president” who doesn’t even feel like he should pay taxes to it much less endure any kind of hardship in its defense.
