And the arguments for destroying that character "Bisexuality exists!" "Sexuality is fluid!" Yes, and yes, but that does not mean a character will suddenly change course and go for someone of the same sex after years, and in most cases decades, of heterosexual tendencies and relationships. And you know what? People can care without wanting to get into the other's pants.
Especially in the case of people like Steve and Bucky. It'd be the same as shipping Bruce Wayne with one of his Robins! Steve pretty much helped raise Bucky in a way, and yet now has no qualms about trying to sleep with him? I do not fucking think so. It's the same reasons why I can't get behind the Gambit + Jubilee or Laura ships, they're little sisters/daughters, not love interests.
