Happy Halloween and (slightly early) @transfember! I'm too excited to wait; y'all know I'm not a patient woman. I want to try to write for every day of Transfember, but I know I'll burn out if I try to push myself too far, so I'm writing a drabble a day! It's been a fun challenge, and I'm learning more about my girl--and her family--as I go.

Heya! Thanks for the recent tags @rimeswithpurple @run-for-chamo-miles.
I lost my voice on Thursday and am slowly getting it back. I threw about six different things at the problem once I realized what was going on, and they're working (knock on wood), so all that's left is to continue those steps until my voice is back.
I've been writing some more of my OCs! Here's some self-indulgent smut 🥰
In a flash, Marsaili has tugged her forward with the hand still in her hair, practically growling.
"Put your brakes on."
Ameria fumbles to do so, barely managing it as Marsaili pulls her pyjama pants and underwear down and wraps her lips around her.
"Oh, Moon..."
Please imagine Ameria in soft, bright pink pyjama pants with a pattern of golden stars and one of Marsaili's overlarge purple t-shirts.

YAY I get to talk about my OCs some more!! Tagging @enbeemagical and @hoothalcyon because I know y'all like Ames and Mars as well :)
Ameria and Marsaili are my OCs in the world of The Dragon Prince! They're Moonshadow elves who live in the Silvergrove. Marsaili is a botanist, studying trees and plants in the Moonshadow Forest. Her wife, Ameria, runs a fiber arts store called The Crafty Crescentpillar, named after TDP's crescentpillars, who spin silk! Ethari keeps Ameria stocked with crochet hooks, knitting needles, and all other metal crafting equipment. Marsaili goes toe to toe with Runaan for Ameria's amusement (and masturbation material), and brings blue roses home to her wife.
Ameria's childhood dream was to travel to the Border to see lavascale lizards, but with a degenerative disability, it gets harder and harder to travel each year. Now that the Border is safe to travel to, she still longs to see the lizards in-person, but she's content hearing Runaan's stories of encountering them around the Moonstone Path and sewing little lizard plushies. Here's a line from a fic that I think perfectly sums up this feeling (the chronic illness feeling of your dreams slipping through your fingers):
Ameria doesn't know how many old dreams she'll get back, but there are so many wonderful dreams ahead of her.
And this fic is actually where Ameria was birthed! Her birthday is January sixth because that's the date I started the fic 😄 The premise of the fic is that Runaan is learning to crochet a weighted blanket for a stressed out Ethari, and Ameria is the one helping Runaan! Since writing Ameria into this fic, she's expanded into her own character outside of ruthari, and I adore her so much.
She also started as a character largely inspired by myself--has EDS, braids her hair, is very femme--but Ameria has grown into her own character outside of that. I'm finding that the more I play with my OCs, the more they come into their own!
Marsaili is partly inspired by Tiadrin, especially her hair. (She has shoulder-length 3a curls with a left parting.) She's autistic and blind with some light and shadow perception, and loves stim toys that make noise! Her horn cuffs have a chain connecting them, similar to Andromeda's horn jewelry.
I've never actually thought about how Ameria and Marsaili met--the Silvergrove is a relatively small village, after all! But Marsaili realized that she loved Ameria in ways other than platonic ones when she took Ameria out for moonberry surprise one time. They were around sixteen, and Ameria was in the early stages of her transition, and Marsaili took Ameria out for moonberry surprise after Ameria's childhood bullies teased Ames about being a girl with short hair. (Her childhood bullies teased her about the "weird" way she walked before she started using a wheelchair. They're really the only ones who are transphobic towards Ameria because they never liked her in the first place.)
When they were on that moonberry surprise date, Marsaili had her oh moment. Ameria had come out, and Marsaili realized the depths of her affection for her, and Marsaili suddenly realized why she as a lesbian was attracted to Ameria.
Both Ameria and Marsaili were very nervous when they started dating. Ameria had never dated as a girl before (and her exes were ableist assholes), and Marsaili was still learning how to let down her guard. Throughout the years, Marsaili's boisterous and tough exterior became less of a mask to keep her softer interior safe, and more of just her. The first time she stimmed with Ameria's dress, Ameria fell head-over-heels in love. Ameria loves both the hardass and soft sides of her brilliant wife.
what are some of the ways that Marsaili makes Ameria feel like the pretty princess that she is? 🥺❤️ I've been thinking a lot about pretty lace things today :3
Step 1: Buy wife a pretty dress. Marsaili goes out shopping with Selene (Ameria's sister-in-law) to find a dress that Ameria would love. For princess days, Ameria loves a sleeveless, light pink dress with a sweetheart neckline. Medium purple or soft yellow are also acceptable colors.
Step 2: When wife wears said pretty dress, give lots of compliments. Marsaili will kiss the top of Ameria's head, stroke her horns, rub the material of Ameria's dress between her fingers. Ameria blushes and laughs shyly as Marsaili comments on how beautiful her braids are today, how gorgeous the dress falls on Ameria, that she'll be right back with the perfect kitten heels for her sundrop.
(Ameria loves Tangled. She would also remind Marsaili of the real life sundrop flower, with how bright and outgoing she is.)
Step 3: Make wife her favorite food. Marsaili makes Ameria a batch of star plum muffins with nutmeg streusel on the top and pours Ameria a glass of moonberry juice in a fancy goblet.
Step 4: Cuddles. Ameria asks her brave knight to come join her on the couch, and of course Marsaili does so. Marsaili reads to Ameria while Ameria snacks, snuggling up to her side and brushing her hand along Ameria's body--her thigh, her bare arm. She also presses kisses along Ameria's bare arm and collarbones, making Ameria giggle.
Step 5 (optional): Sex. Marsaili lays Ameria out in bed, pressing kisses down her legs as she slips off Ameria's shoes. Marsaili carefully takes Ameria's rib brace off (with permission), and Ameria squirms against the bedsheets when Marsaili unlaces her dress and slips it off. She clutches the bedsheets as Marsaili devotes attention to Ameria's chest and gently works Ameria open. Ameria cries when Marsaili pushes into her, and after a few minutes, they switch positions because Ameria wants nothing more than to be inside of Marsaili.
Damn, this would make a good fic.

Y'all know me by now, I can't pick favorites. So here are two of my favorites! One from a posted chapter, and one from an unposted chapter.
A vanilla scented bath bomb fizzes out in the water, flower petals sprinkled over the water and resting on pillows of bubbles. Runaan smiles softly, more than willing to let his husband treat him to whatever luxury he has in store. (Chapter 3)
Worse still, there's a scrape running from Ethari's temple to his eyebrow that Runaan is positive is from his horn. Red beads along the cut, matching the bleeding of Runaan's heart. (Chapter 5)

3. Was there any specific point / any specific moment that suddenly made this character your Blorbo, or did you slowly grow to love them more and more until they became a Blorbo to you?
She's my OC, she runs a fiber arts shop, she's trans with a butch wife, she decorates her wheelchair with her own creations, she braids her hair, she never takes sugar in her tea, she always makes sure her wife has milk for her coffee, she learned braille for her blind wife, she loves bubble baths and back massages, she's everything and I love her.
4. What’s the thing you love the most about your Blorbo?
Same answer that Marsaili (Ameria's wife) would have: "Would you like the powerpoint slides arranged alphabetically or chronologically?"
8. Is your Blorbo an introvert or extrovert?
Extrovert. She loves connecting with people, especially because her disability limits the amount of time she can spend being social. Ameria is more quietly extroverted, but she'll be a social butterfly (with butterfly clips in her hair) as long as her body lets her.

Ooh I had to think about this one for a bit!
🥰 Ameria loves when her wife brings home flowers and rocks for her, especially blue roses and amethyst. She keeps a vase of the fresh flowers in the kitchen, and in the bottom of the vase is a layer of rocks. When Ameria changes the water in the vase, she cycles out some of the rocks and puts in new ones from her rock collection. Ameria doesn't collect many rocks herself, but she keeps every single one Marsaili brings her.
🥺 Marsaili is soft for Ameria kissing her ears. When Ameria takes Marsaili's face in her hands and strokes her ears, Marsaili just melts. Marsaili's safe space is with her face pressed to Ameria's chest so she can hear her wife's heartbeat, Ameria cupping her face and stroking her ears and hair.
