Kay honestly the past few months have been on and off for me writing wise, so I appreciate you being so patient and also letting me big brain stuff with you ! I have to be honest I um, kind of lost where you are on Discord my friend! So if you could message sometime so this idiot could find you I’d appreciate it since I wanna chat more about things and get to those asks I owe! Or make you a starter if you’d like? But this is how I feel about platonic / familial MirKag. I just can’t see them personally any other way.

To me he is her true big brother in every sense of the word and Kagome the protective and loyal, willing to be vulnerable around him younger sister. I love that since PTSD is a struggle for my Kagome or well, trauma period granted I think the ENTIRE group is traumatized? That Miroku is definitely as I’ve told you, someone that she trusts inherently for advice and for wisdom when he isn’t being well, you know. Kagome loves him a lot and just wants him to be happy and not give up on himself. She sure won’t and never will and certainly won’t let him! Because he deserves to live and be loved by Sango, Kagome herself and really the group as a whole, who are invincible when together.

Byakuya let out a sigh of relief as the cool night breeze hit his skin and whipped through his hair. It was liberating to retreat from Naraku’s hideout once in a while to have some time to himself... to think. Swooping down on his origami crane, he landed where there was a large clearing next to a pond. The dream demon stepped over to the lake, kneeling by it and splashed a handful of the crystal water on his face. He let out a breath, drying his face with his sleeve and standing... only to sense a presence behind him.

Byakuya turned, slightly startled at first, but he relaxed as soon as he saw the form of the monk with the cursed hand emerge from the bushes. But something was... off. The other was stumbling as if he lost control of his basic motor functions, a blush covering the monk’s cheeks. ...Just what was the other doing just now??
