inuyasha would never have called himself a day dreamer by any means, but there were times where he’d found himself lost in thought. perhaps the term ‘escapism’ was more appropriate, having found himself retreating into his own thoughts in many times of his life; especially, when he was a young child.

sitting on the front of his car, one foot on the bumper and the other on the ground, he rested his elbow on his knee to better rest his hand in his palm. gods only knew how long everyone would take for their second bathroom break of the day, all but him having opted to go into the gas station for one reason or another. 

the sound of sango’s voice brought him back to the present, eyes finding focus as they shifted towards the source. the somewhat obscure word took him a moment to register before realizing exactly what she was referring to.

❝ oh. yeah, ❞ he began, straightening some by putting both feet on the ground and simply leaning against the front of the car with his arms crossed against his chest,  ❝ miroku says it’s a trauma response. ❞

though the two of them had known each other for some time, it wasn’t often that both inuyasha and sango were left alone together. they were friends, that much was true, with either of them backing the other through thick and thin, but it was rare for them to have too many intimate conversations. 

inuyasha’s reply had meant to be a joke, though he wasn’t sure how effective that joke was.

When do you believe are Kin'u and Gyokuto's birthday? We sorta see what the weather is like in Final Act, but thoughts? What astrological sign do you associate her with? Asking for a friend. <3

Hmm I haven't thought about that until now kjhgfdsdfg, but if I were to choose a zodiac sign for Kin'u, it would probably be Gemini ( May 21 - June 20 ) As for the birthday... I'll make it magical and say that they were born right at the end of spring and beginning of the summer solstice. That way Kin'u is born in June 20 ( Gemini; Air; Spring ) and Gyokuto June 21 ( Cancer; Water; Summer ) In the zodiac, air signs lead with their heads and water signs lead with their heart. So in my head, I think it is a perfect combination for the twins :) Also because, I remember reading somewhere that the phrase with Kin'u and Gyokuto's name together means "Sun and Moon"; Water is associated with the moon, and the word Gyoku means "Moon". So I think giving Gyokuto a water sign would be perfect, as for Kin'u, her personality is more of a Gemini than a Leo. Besides, I thought that if they were born at the summer solstice would add a magical touch to it :)

Rin’s cheeks got a little pink at the sudden question from the slayer. She had been giving it some thought in the past few months. She really enjoyed her herb and healing lessons she got from both Kaede and Kagome on a regular basis (and Kikyou when she passed through). Not to mention the thrill she got when traveling to Jinenji’s with Kagome a few months ago to learn from him. But her heart was torn. 

Because her heart also belonged to a certain slayer and she knew how important it was to Sango and Kohaku to continue that tradition. She was conflicted.

“I have thought about it,” she mused. “I just not.....sure what my future will be and what skills I should learn for it.”

i feel this is an accurate scene that sums up what happened between me, shadow and kay in my lil sphere of kagome-ing. do i regret? no. am i going to respond to kay because it got deep? yes. meanwhile kagome and inuyasha continue to be unbelievably stubborn and essentially the main couples are uh...they’re goin’ through it! also i continue to be trapped in a snow storm.
