AMG 2022: Day 1

For the 1st time going to event alone cuz all my friends were occupied on the weekend. Is a good thing i went alone as well cuz i didnt need to wait for anyone.  Instead my parents hv to wait for me in the mall. 

Arrived at the venue abt 9.00am.

Saw longx2 line, follow the longx2 line and waited till it was 10.06am, then the doors were open.

Headed to AMG booth 1st thing to get Shirahama’s print cuz later it was sold out in the afternoon. 

Then, linger around the artist alley to get some fanarts. Too bad didnt see all of it cuz was focusing on the panels in the afternoon.

Saw an infinite line on the normal ticket counter when crossing link bridge to the mall for lunch @ Subway Good thing i went there early as well cuz 1 min late and you gotta queue to makan. No patience for that. 

After makan, walked fastx2 to panel room outside. Volunteer said dont confuse em for Mindaryn and Emirichu. Still stubborn also queue, and managed to sit at the 2nd front row for Emirichu’s panel & shot video.

By right the 1st front row was for Media, not sure why they didnt turn up so volunteers decided to let the back liners to sit at the front row, wow lucky em. 

Emily was kinda shy as it was her first overseas con. She answered like 3 ppl questions in the room due to time constraint. She had an impromptu signing session at 5.30 pm for those who wouldn’t make to day 2 (sunday) but didnt go as well as i waited for Shirahama’s sensei panel. 

Saw a dude tweeted that he waited 2 & half hours and gave up cuz her line was again longx2 for Emily’s signing. 

I queued again for Shirahama’s sensei panel and thought couldnt get in as the volunteer said 100 ppl in, I still line up anyhow and was seated at the last row.

Sensei answered question is that what kind of music does she listens, and she said she listens to anime opening. 

She answered all the questions that was submitted thru online, then it was long queue of getting her signature. 

Sensei is a very private person, so no recording in video or audio was allowed. Before meeting her, i had to hand in my phone to volunteers, so quite strict ya. 

Also the translator had to spelled my name to sensei cuz she couldnt read my handwriting on the sticky note for her to sign the print. 

I conclude this AMG 2022 trip. Wont be going to Day 2 cuz i wanna rest. I also got what i wanted to do so it was a good trip.
