How did Sadie mac Lir came to be?
Sadie's actual origins started with the character; Sadie Kane but based around Irish mythology under [the god of the sea, Lir] In terms of personality, Sadie picks up a lot from my favourite character, [Misaka Mikoto] Intelligent, friendly, bit boyish but still very much a lady at her core.
Her elf ears was a mistake on my part but I adopted them later as sort of a cute feature. Credits to [Ninomae Ina'nis] for that additional feature and a little bit of [Amity Blight] for the golden eyes.
I have to admit again, I never really thought deeply about this but in terms of "It's Sadie Kane but with the Irish gods and the harsh exterior of a Tsundere" That was its very core.

Annnd she’s done! Here is my finished painting of Misaka Mikoto from the anime series A Certain Scientific Railgun. This was quite a labour of love since it’s been ages since I’ve drawn an entire half-body canvas size anime character.😊 Reblogs are appreciated.
It’s a series that’s dear to me cause it’s one of several animes me and my boyfriend have been bingeing remotely together online during lockdown. I’d say it’s one of my favourite animes of all time, and Misaka is one of my favourite anime protagonists- I love a good, well-written tsundere 😁
I painted her using Daler Rowney Simply watercolour 24 pack, Daler Rowney Aquafine watercolour paint brushes (4 pack- I used Round 4 and Round 1), Daler Rowney Aquafine Cold pressed NOT watercolour paper (sketched with Derwent Academy 12 sketching pencils, and Faber-Castell Dust Free Green Art Eraser).
