Oh my. My dear, if you think that would be bothering me you severely underestimate my inability to shut up about these two. Please sit down and get comfortable, help yourself to some popcorn.
Steddie (with an ie, bc Steve+Eddie) is a ship that grew specifically from season 4 of Stranger Things. Now I do recommend watching the whole thing, because it is very very good, and also the one half responsible for the HOT is there from the start. Steve Harrington, aka world's best babysitter, aka everyone's favorite babygirl.
But if you wanna jump into season 4 just for the ship, it's also a viable option, every season has its own story arc (although things from prev seasons are obviously referenced both in canon and fanfiction). And season 4 is where we meet this precious creature. Dungeon master, resident metalhead, freaky queer boy Eddie Munson.
And at some point, they meet. (Well, on the show. They did go to the same school, so there's a whole, whole lotta fanon about that.) Aaaaand the way they meet is... well, more than enough to jumpstart all the pictures you might have been seeing.
From that point until season end, I gotta admit there's not a lot. But that was more than enough for many to decide they are destined for each other, and build a giant temple of Steddie that now has thousands of fanworks. (Also, the actual season ending is pretty much universally ignored.)
There's few words. They have exactly one private conversation and it's... intense. The rest is a whole lot of looks and vibes.
Also, some throwing of clothes at each other.
And co-parenting of their son who worships them both. (I'm not gonna explain that further. It is what it is, it only makes sense after watching.)
And, well. I mean. Just these two. Yeah. Yeah.
