How am I suppose to know if I’m bi or just willing to acknowledge another female is cute when I’m asexual and can’t use the typical I’d be down to fuck realization?? Like I honestly cannot figure this out.
Am I just talking to her so much because I found someone that isn’t freaked by my social awkwardness and has the same humor, or is it more and I don’t realize it?
I know a lot of people would say “if you’re questioning it there is your answer” but I grew up in a conservative Christian home so I didn’t find out much about the LGBTQ+ until I started working at 18. Now it’s like I’m trying to discover what it means for me to be asexual while learning all these other sexualities. Also, like 90% of my coworkers are LGBTQ+ and it’s a running joke you’re assumed gay until proven straight. It took two years for people to realize I was straight. But like now that has me going, wait, am I?
I really want to talk to someone about the fact I think I’m bi.
