One of our minor disasters this is from “Space Hulk Terminator 40000” we had been asked to do a first ever live action film based upon Gamesworkshop’s Warhammer 40k. We loved it we all had a great time doing it, it became a true labor of love, with everyone pitching in to make it work, the autocannon was a British drill with a fancy tube made barrel bit attached. I was in the Terminator, Peter Cushing was the Fimer mystic, and Sean Pertwee was the evil genestealer Primark. Unfortunately the infamous Gamesworkshop split happened either during or just after production, the sculptor with the rights to the Fimer left, new people took over, and we landed in a legal battle. The film became the property of Gamesworkshop to be shown at the Golden Demon Awards in London and occasionally released on the BBC. I never saw the finished work or received a copy, but I was fortunate enough to find this photo in a copy of Gameworkshop’s White Dwarf from coverage of the Golden Demon Awards. Sean Pertwee took it all very hard, and I am truly glad he got the chance to do voice in the first CGI adaptation “Ultramarines” feels like we got a little vindication there. #amicusproductions #petercushing #gw #gamesworkshop #spacehulk #terminator #warhammer #40k #warhammer40k #scifi #seanpertwee #shanebriant #christopherstewart #alexhydewhite #jonathanbrandis #BBC https://www.instagram.com/p/BuNilBpA9z7/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=bg2ckqjdr508
