Amida Sat by your bedside, contemplating how exactly she was supposed to react to you. You knew she would be angry, but you didn't expect her anger to be expressed through such horrific quiet.
you had broken your ankle jumping from the window,a window she had purposely left unlocked as if to tempt you into trying. She never expected you would, but she liked giving you false hope.
"You know there will be punishment." She muttered quietly, carefully adjusting the pillow under your ankle.
"Please, not-not my family-" You erupted in tears, fueled by the way your ankle would flare up at every moment.
Amida softened, leaning over to shush you, wiping your tears gently. "Now, Dearheart, I made you aware of the consequences of disobedience." She carefully kissed your cheek before pulling back, reveling in the way you shook your head as if to plead with her in a way words could not express.
"Please- Anyone but not them i- i cant-"
"Then why jump? If you knew they would be hurt as punishment. Did you want to see them hurt?"
You shook your head adamantly, trying to bring your hands to cover your face but only receiving a cold clank as the handcuffs rattle against the bedframe. "I would never! Please don't hurt them please-"
"i knew you were a glutton for punishment, my love. She grinned, leaning back in her chair to watch you unravel. "perhaphs i can be... convinced to be merciful? Would you like that?"
You agreed without thinking, your whole body shuddering with the effort of controlling your emotions.
"If you don't fight me tonight, let me sleep beside you. This room must be so cold all alone, it would be doing yourself a favour really..."
She ultimately decided that she liked you hurt, docile, unable to fight against her cuddles. because if it took a broken ankle or a threat just to keep you to herself, it was well worth that.
