I had a dream where Tumblr was filled to the BRIM with Animal Crossing Amiibo card ads. Like, there were so many that finding an actual post was like finding a needle in a haystack, even more ads than the Shapes Inc ads that were plaguing Tumblr back in February. The ads had a very similar layout to this:

(Picture taken from a page of my own collection.) Just a picture of some Amiibo cards laid out in an orderly pattern, except it was a digital image of cards on a white background instead of a photo of a card book.

The link attached to the ads seemed very sketchy, almost scamlike. Can’t remember what the URL was, but it had the vibes of a free Robux site or Temu. Just felt like the website would log your credit card info and never actually mail you the cards. But again, they were EVERYWHERE. In the dream, on my own blog, I scrolled down for a ridiculously long time before I found my own posts. So Tumblr was essentially just a collection of scammy ads and nothing more.

As someone who is both easily frustrated and will be having a full-time job in the next five years, I might've bought all 498 Animal Crossing Amiibo cards (i bought the sanrio ones prior) because I don't want spend all that time villager hunting, especially once I start working 40 hours a week while still wanting to enjoy the game.
