   “You know, this has been....nice. I wish I could visit more often.” The kryptonian rolled off her tongue with ease as she settled onto her cousin’s bed. (technically they were cousins once removed, but who cared about technicalities.) “School has been rough. and while jeremiah and eliza are trying their hardest...their kryptonian is......fuzzy at best.”

“that’s enough.” her eyes are narrowed, and the strength of her voice surprises no one more than ally herself. but she can’t help the angry inferno coming to life in her chest. an offhanded comment about rachel berry had set everything into motion. even though she had graduated and made it into nyada, people in mckinley seemed to still find it funny to throw insults around when she wasn’t here to hear them. still, rachel had been a sister when ally had needed it most, had accepted the younger girl into her family, and in doing so had earned a loyal companion. which meant when it was rachel’s honor at stake, ally’s normal timidness gave way to righteous fury.

 she faced the cheerleader, cheeks flushed but gaze unwavering as she spoke. “you can pick on me, call me names, tell me what a loser i am, shove me into lockers, throw a goddamn slushy in my face! go ahead. but i draw the line at letting you talk about RACHEL that way. her toenail clippings have infinitely more talent than you ever will. and furthermore,” ally near spits as she takes another step forward to close the gap between them, “she’s made it in new york. all you’ll ever be is another lima loser who peaked in high school and never got over it.”

she ends her rant with a sharp jab to virginia’s shoulder, brown eyes narrowed dangerously. her heart’s beating hard enough to bruise her ribcage, though whether it’s fueled by anger or fear she can’t quite decipher. she let out a shaky breath. slowly she clenched and unclenched her fist. “and if you say another bad word about her, you’ll be sorry. so find someone else to pick on. or better yet, GROW UP.”

she brushes the back of her hand across her forehead, a single finger crossing over to pull a strand of hair back behind her ear, only to quickly pull all the hair out from behind her ear. she hated the way it looked when all her hair was bunched up like that and staring straight into the mirror of the girls bathroom only made her despise the sight even more.

they were hiding from their problems, or at least sofia was. she didn’t want to go back in that hallway, face all the stares. but she also didn’t want to be stuck in here with her thoughts. the rough time she’s having at home, hiding it from everyone, riley included. she hated to bother others with her silly little problems. someone always evidently had it worse and then she felt stupid for wanting comfort because her own parents were getting a divorce, when another kid she has classes with is being beat up by her father who sent her mother away to some high tech facility for crazy people. her life wasn’t that traumatic. though, that’s an understatement.

“what the hell are you doing in there?” she finally calls over toward the stall rileys been in for, what seems like, ages. from the outside it would probably seem awkward, her calling riley out like that, but it fits their friendship. a heavy sigh as she tucks her top back into her black jeans, still glancing in the mirror as she adjusts her sweater. “we’ve gotta go out there sooner or later, i’m not climbing through the window like some cliche movie.”

‘HC’ + family [as in Maya&Roma] (Farkle)

           Farkle grew up with his parents coming in and out of the house, with his siblings away at boarding schools. This was what he knew he didn’t want for the family he had in the future. So, when Maya had become pregnant he swore to himself that he would do what he could to support her and their child.

               He loves them both, and does his fair share of looking after Roma, he is after all her father. Farkle would do anything to protect Maya and Roma, even though he knows that they can (Roma When Older Enough) take care of themselves - doesn’t stop him from doing what he can. Maya and Roma brought him and his mother closer, as well as one of his sisters. 

                Farkle wants to provide for his family, and while he comes from a rich family, refuses to take too much help from his mother (money wise).

MAYA LEAVES AU

                 Roma become his everything, and his emotions towards Maya became confusing because he loved Maya still - even though she had left them. Everything he did, was for Roma. He got a job just so that he could keep a roof over Roma’s head, Roma eats before he does - and this doesn’t do well for his eating disorder; but his daughter’s happiness comes before his. It always will, no matter which universe he lives in.
