i've been playing the early access but it still gets me each time just seeing how loved bea is, out there on the far, far, range... even if we, as bea, never get to directly interact with them. It just, warms my heart. bea really did find where she belongs and it's amazing. I love everyone's love and affection for her. she goes off to these mystery rainbow islands and everyone is concerned, hoping she's okay and sending gifts to help her start a new ranch but also just make the place more lively and lovely. mochi has been sending drones, not just to check out this new place but make sure bea is okay too. thora makes sure we're comfortable and following our heart still. viktor and ogden show concern about this weird place we're at, and that we went so suddenly. we can't even send bob chickens now but even he still messages us!!! idk man i just love slime rancher. it's one of those games that just can tug at your heartstrings, and it's done with such a simple story. like sure it can be all about the profits and mindless grind but it also allows you to let it be more than that too.
bea left casey behind and honestly no idea if bea even still talks to casey, or if casey continues to write. maybe casey will appear in this second game idk yet. but like its just... it's just nice, y'know? knowing bea traveled all this way looking for herself, looking for whatever it is she needed and she found it. and found a buncha folks who care so much for her. and also just knowing everyone else also came to the far, far range for the same reasons -- looking for something else, something more.
