I hope you don't mind if I change things up a bit and share some game inspired designs I've been working on! 😃 Unfortunately, my Wacom Cintiq is still broken. My repairman is waiting to hear back from a supplier whether they have certain parts to fix it. (Fingers crossed they do!) On the other hand, this situation has forced myself to draw with an actual pencil on paper A LOT more. 😂 The past few days I've been working on these designs which I hope to colour soon. I haven't decided what materials to use, perhaps I'll create multiple versions and experiment! (Markers, paints, colouring pencils...) Eventually I'd like to turn these into prints and sell them on my online store. Whatcha think? Are you guys fans of either Zelda, Animal Crossing or Pokémon? Do you have a favourite design? On Monday 19th November, I did a Microbes book presentation as part of Book Week Scotland 2018 at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. The event was fully booked, filled with 400 school kids and teachers. It was the biggest crowd I’ve ever presented too. Thank you to everyone who came!

This is where Joshua and I have been working in our enormous room! I've been writing material for a short comic based on my Mum's childhood, growing up in South London. Before travelling to Finland, I interviewed my Mum. I asked her all sorts of questions about family life, the area she grew up in, and her unfortunate frequent trips to hospital. I even bought a dictaphone to record our lengthy conversation. There's so much interesting stories and information that I want to include. It's going to be difficult to condense it and choose what to keep and what to discard.
