A month flew by in a breeze and in that time, Enzo thought that he was starting to get through to Amirah. She hadn’t tried to flee again and since he knew he could trust her, he’d allowed her to see her sister again two weeks in. In the fortnight since that time, he could see that she was starting to soften around him, then again, sex could be the only reason why too. Whenever he felt an argument coming up, he would stop it immediately with a kiss, which would then escalate into something more… A few days ago, he’d been asked to return to Italy in order to attend to some important matters. Since he didn’t have the heart to separate the sisters, he spoke to Dev and they both agreed to go to Italy together. They arrived two days ago and due to the meetings he’d been forced to attend, he has yet to show Amirah around his castle. Today seemed the perfect time to do so seeing as he had a free day. So he decided to take her, Dev and Mishka to the vineyard first. They went together, but somehow were separated—just as well, since he could use more alone time with Amirah. “How are you liking Italy?” He asked as they strolled down the rows of grape trees. “I’m sorry I haven’t been able to show you around. Responsibilities calls.”

ANOTHER day, another bout of antics from Princess Amirah that Enzo was forced to suffer through. Although, if he was being completely honest, these days, he rather liked the little things that he would end up having to do. The brunette was becoming a huge part of his entertainment. While he was normally always so bored while working with other royalties in the past, Amirah made it a little more enjoyable. Of course, the Guardian mostly had to force himself not to smile like an idiot whenever he would watch her do something silly or even say something funny to try to get a reaction out of him. However, today of all days, she wanted to go horseback riding. The raven-haired male looked out into the courtyard where the sun was shining bright—a little too brightly if he was being honest before looking back at his liege. “I don’t think today is the best time for it, Your Highness, it’s too hot. You’re going to burn and so will I.” But Amirah being stubborn as ever, didn’t heed his advice and instead, led him away from her room and towards the stables. He simply let out a breath of exasperation as he followed her and asked one of her handmaiden’s to grab sunscreen for them when one was close enough to him. “Do you know what you’re doing, Princess? If you don’t then we’re in really big trouble.” He asked once a horse was presented to them. Enzo didn’t like to assume things, so it was always safe for him to ask. The last thing he wanted was an accident to happen. God, he could already feel a headache coming on…  Still, since it was his job to protect her, he requested another horse. “If you’re going to do this, I will do this with you.”
