amittendimens: Leslie was particularly physical in the way he conveyed his response. He shook his head firmly, a grimace scrunching his ivory characteristics at the thought. When another patient had attacked him (breaking his nose and several ribs in the process) he hadn’t even thought to raise a fist in defence. “Never hurt…” murmured the albino, who idly spun the wheels of his toy locomotive. “Never hurt… never want to hurt… pretty girl… never hurt her either.”

Jimenez almost chuckled, “All right, you see pretty adamant about that. That’s good. You’d be surprised how many people don’t put a second thought into that sort of thing.” At this point, he felt his fun had run its course. Nice as he was, Jimenez wasn’t actually going to tell Leslie he was perfect dating material. That would be just unkind. Nice or not, there was a particularly powerful stigma around people like Leslie. That poor girl would never give him a chance. “Why don’t you try to draw something for her in your next visit to the dayroom?”

No. No; it was that—thing. That monstrous entity that was but a nightmarish influence, a figment—but evermore it was far more real than one could hope to perceive. Just looking at it again coiled Leslie's stomach, his brow creased in a panic that crept, and he covered his ears to assuage the burn of hearing that it was there. "Go away, go away—go away... go away... please... help me—help me... ! !"

It knows this one. Vessel. Not to be harmed, safe from it's maul. It stands uncertain, conflicting orders making it hesitate. Go away, or help? Ultimately it settles on help, moving closer with heavy steps. It keeps it's arms relaxed at it's sides as it approaches, trying to appear non-threatening.
