and it really depends on what ur going to grad school for! i recommend u talk to someone in programs ur looking into and see what they think, cause a lot of the times what the school promotes on websites is just fluffed up bs, so get info from a students perspective like what job prospects are like after grad, what the program offers, professors, etc. gl!

thanks so much for replying i totally understand your view and where you're coming from. People can be too closed minded sometimes and need to calm down. Not everyone is on board with the feminism train especially when it gets scary and violent like you said with people being extremists. Totally agree

Yes, and sadly, mostly the extremists are displayed on tv, on the news and mostly everywhere. It's not right but people can't be blamed for what they see.

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH. WHAT YOU SAID WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING AND LOOKING FOR. even I didn't know the true 100% accurate definition of feminism and I tried staying away from all that fracas in general cause I thought women wanted to overpower men, so i don't think it's shailene's fault that she probably misunderstood the true meaning. Like i believe in equality too, and some feminists are overly aggressive about it and don't stay true to it's real morals and stuff

Totally! I never even see on the news or anywhere else about true feminists, only the extremists, who just want power and power and power. They show that side to people and that's why people believe and identify feminism with that. People just really quick to judge and never read about stuff, jumping to conclusions without thinking and I see that post with 100k notes on my timeline and I just want to smash their head into a wall and they show them what humanity actually thinks is feminism and what the original idea was about. 

So why blame a 22 year old girl for not knowing the exact definition of something that is already misinterpreted in the world? Instead of judginf, people should kindly tell her and everyone else that that isn't feminism and explain the true meaning of it.
