Day 97: vending machine in the waiting room 🍫 Lo

day ninety-eight: i went to buy a smoothie from the truck outside work ("the hulk" -- spinach, pineapple, etc.). it reminded me of sunday when i hung out w/jz b/c we passed by a smoothie truck that said "any smoothie, $3." because it was so cheap, we ordered a smoothie, but then the guy literally gave everyone the same smoothie (and definitely not the one we ordered), and then charged us $5. jz told him the sign clearly said $3, and the guy said "i just work here, i don't make the sign." wtf?! jz told him we didn't want the smoothie anymore.

it was the most bizarre, stupid thing ever, but also pretty hilarious in hindsight. jz joked that good thing i was there to witness it, b/c if he ever retold that story, no one would believe him. so i was happy that i got my smoothie for the price advertised, and i got the smoothie i asked for (and the guy even threw in some lemon juice for free b/c he said it tasted amazing w/it and asked if i wanted some).

Day 95: I'm glad I got to catch up with a high school friend (actually an elementary school friend) and meet her new boyfriend + friends. Lo
