Tokyo Ghoul re: is over, Hide stayed friends with Kaneki and as far as we know, he never confessed, in order to lighten things up and explore different ships...

✥ I am hosting Hide x Others week! ✥

The aim is to put more content out there that involves Hide that is not Hidekane and bond over other ships.

Focusing the love on Hide and expanding to ships we may have not considered before and or ships that where never in the spot light.

This, is your chance to give Hide the happy ever after he deserves with someone who reciprocates. Show the world why your other Hide ships are great.

Your work can be art, animation, edits as well as fanfiction!

And it can be of Hide x  ( Shuu, Amon, Urie, Takizawa that one Girl that showed up in big girl that one time) All are welcome here.

In all seriousness, I do feel that Amon is actually one of the people who understands Hide best; I would honestly venture to say that he understands Hide better than Kaneki, mostly because Hide hides so much of himself from Kaneki and always has, while Amon has seen those personal, vulnerable parts of him since he probably doesn’t feel the need to conceal them as much in his presence.

That’s why I gotta say, as much as hidekane will always be my #1 top top pairing, Amon and Hide potentially work better because there’s a lack of those communication barriers that exist to the same extent as they do between Kaneki and Hide.
