Really, considering all the times they’ve been thrown into fights in their lives, going up against Digimon that were fully capable of killing them with a blast of energy or the swing of a limb, a little bit of a close call on the road shouldn’t have seemed like all that much.

“...If it makes you feel any better, I think my bike took more damage than I did,” Yamato muttered, his tone not quite irritated but certainly not as repentant as he likely should have been considering Sora’s overall air of upset. He wasn’t meeting her gaze for more than a second or two at a time, because he knew that this was his fault and it had, of course, given them all a bit of a scare.

More than a bit. 

He should have probably been more shook up about it all, considering, but he’d tangled with death enough that he was rather desensitized by this point. 

“It’s just road rash, Sora, promise. At worst, it’ll scar, but it’s not like I wear shorts very often anyway.”

It was meant to be reassuring, maybe even a bit of a joke, but the words fell flat.

Sora had carefully prepared this box for Yamato. Filled with an assortment of meticulously decorated sweets atop some tissue paper, the sugary smells are airy and inviting. Even after years of her presenting gifts to Yamato, a soft pink tinge always dusts over her cheeks whenever she offers him something. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” she says, looking away from the blonde slightly from nervousness. | @amorcrest. ❤️

He can't help but chuckle at her nervousness, giving a short bow in return towards the gesture as Yamato carefully took the offered gift. While the blonde wasn't someone that leaned towards sugary delights it truly made him feel special whenever Sora thought of him.

"You really didn't have to, thank you."

Placing the box on the table beside him, Yamato carefully held the woman's hands as he lifted them to his lips. A soft kiss grazing the florist's knuckles as he smiled.

Miyako could barely hold a gasp. It was true that, whether in the shape of a crest or of a digimental, both girls were assigned the trait of Love by the Digital World - but the way it manifested in each of them was vastly different. Sora was reserved with her feelings, cautious, while Miyako always wore hers on her sleeve, obvious to anyone who knew her the slightest.

Which made the older girl’s confession quite a surprise, at least to Miyako.

- Sora-san! I know how it is! Ah! - she snapped her fingers - So Mimi-san was telling the truth, of course! Still, I don’t think you’re a dumbass at all, Sora-san, not like me!

“Ichijouji-kun...” Ah, a warning tone from mamma. Hands him a lollipop so he can be nice. | @amorcrest. 

He takes the lollipop immediately, and then continues to talk with his mouth full. “Thanks, but we still don’t have to destroy the dark ocean.”

“I don’t need the destruction of yet another entire ecosystem under my belt.”

Well that certainly caught his attention, a quick smirk spreading over Yamato's lips as he quickly pulled the redhead down into his arms.

Sora should know better than to tease him like that.

Gathering her up in his arms the normally stoic and proper male began to pepper her face in kisses. Loud, dramatic and comedic noises and "muah's" following each display of affection as Yamato held her between his arms.
