Mystery solved! Though it did take me a minute to remember that, yes, The Naked Time does have time travel. It has so much going for it that I tend to forget that there's a 'time travel reset button' tacked on the end.

But yes. I'm glad that Hank is using his media closet to record important mutant-related news, and also eps of TOS.

Really wolverine's claws should be bone throughout dofp because the past scenes are before the adamantium and the future scenes are after they got snapped in the wolverine so I kinda wanna know why they're metal in the film

Okay, so here’s the information I’ve put together:

Wolverine had his claws cut off in The Wolverine, right? So that would mean in the future his claws would be bone (because he could heal himself and at the very least get his bone back). And it doesn’t really matter when he first got the adamantium because his role with the younger crowd in the past is that he is from the future. (I forgot his claws got cut off because, honestly, I’m trying to block The Wolverine from my memory because it was so so so bad. So, that one’s on me.)

are very confusing and, as an audience to a long running franchise that has very little continuity, we deserve some sort of explanation of premise or just a statement saying that it will be discussed in the film OR a formal apology saying “we fucked up” with the promo pics because they don’t really actually tie in to the (very) loose storyline that’s going on here?

I don’t really know if I’m overreacting or not. Even though I don’t read comics, I feel very frustrated with how this franchise is going because I’ve been watching the movies since I was in 2nd grade and it is falling apart because the first two were SO GOOD (First Class and Origins were good too, but X3 and The Wolverine were not)

ALSO, after a google search, I found this article explaining why he’ll have both bone and metal? Saying Magneto will probably help him out?

I don’t know, that sounds kinda cheap, but at least it’s an explanation.

Oh, really?  How come?  I mean, I only know what I've gleaned from gif sets and quotes here and there.  Did he say he was there 300 years, or...?  I mean, it seems to be what most people assume, so I'm okay with putting that in fic. :)  Thank you!
