It sounded like a name, though not one he recognized. Started with an R. Regi-what? After a moment, he realized that he had not been meant to hear the name, but it was too late now. "My apologies, Edith. I overheard. It is not my intention to pry, if you do not wish to speak of it."
E’hla | #33 "How are you doing?"
The question was soft, abnormally quiet for his baritone voice. Despite the ease with which he ranted and complained and raged about the unfairness of the situation when E'hla was not around, he could not bring himself to be mad at her right now. It was more of a tired sadness that filled him at the moment, and all he wanted was for her to be happy. He wanted to hold her and hear her voice say something pleasant.

Of course he is okay. Look at the size of him! Like a walking mountain. Why were werecreatures so.. big all the time? Even in their human forms.Normally, Dalamus might not be polite around werebeasts, mostly due to his uneasiness. But he was not a complete imbecile. He knew better than to provoke a werebeast on its own turf. Plus, this Nord had not done him any wrong.
The vampire set down the bow he had been training with. "I promise you I was aiming at the bulls-eye, not your arm. ..At least it only grazed you?"
Gavril | #41 "Have you ever thought about a threesome with Daedra?"
"Maybe Sanguine and Molag, since you all like to screw with people's relationships, or just their lives in general. You would probably get along. Pulling families apart and laughing at the agony of the innocent and all." Dalamus crossed his arms and glared--if only looks could kill... "You remind me of my father, but worse. I did not think such was possible. Congratulations."
Llaara | #25 "Where did you hide the dagger?"
He asked quietly, knowing the sensitivity of the subject. "The dagger you kil--stabbed the thief with. Did you hide it? It does no good hidden away, sweetheart..." The mer knew not what else to add. Most of the statements he could think of began with 'I' and so he assumed they would be considered selfish.
Still, he continued, against his better judgement. "I just want you to be able to defend yourself if something like that ever happens again. For everyone's sake, I hope it does not ever happen again, of course, but.. I would feel better knowing you have a weapon on you."

The vampire's arms were crossed, but his voice was wary. He knew better than to get too close; then again, she seemed to have some magical skill as well as physical. It was a simple and honest enough question, at least to him. He needed to know how she felt about him so he may act accordingly.
"Are we enemies? Are you wanting to murder me any time soon? I just would like to know if I need to sleep with an eye open."
Nyra | #26 "How often do you do that?"
A brow lifted in curiosity and perhaps some slight disgust. "I can still smell the werebeast on you, and it is definitely not blood. Sleeping with random werebeasts sounds.. risky."
He waited a moment for her answer or a reaction, and then added, "Gods, please tell me you do not sleep with them while they are Shifted." He feigned a shiver.
Tindra | #9 "Can we talk?"
Dalamus was, of course, wary around werebeasts that he did not know well, but she was a bit different. He could smell Shadrach on her, and assumed it was because she was his lover that Tortulja had only briefly and vaguely mentioned once before.
"I apologize for the suddenness of my question. I am a friend of Shadrach's, and the family staying with him is my wife and daughter. I will not bore you with details, I just.. wish to know how everyone is doing.”
