Making a Mountain out of a Molehill
Making a mountain out of a molehill you make a small problem much bigger. It would be prudent if we didn’t. Making anything bigger than it needs to be, is considered toxic.
Making anything bigger, is human behaviour, something that can be inherited, if we’ve seen our parents do it, and their parents before them. But making something bigger than it needs to be, is mentally tiring, time consuming and intense. It can happen to anyone, and usually starts as a small issue through worry, a worry that we fail to contain.
Making a mountain out of a molehill is synonymous with people who deal with PTSD and OCD. It’s not that they may purposefully choose to blow something up so it’s bigger than it needs to be, but being anxious can often keep them in a state of worry.
Also, anyone who needs to be in control, may be prone to making a mountain out of a molehill. The sad reality is that having to be in control, means all situations need to be under their control, because when they lose control, they cannot function normally.
Making a mountain out of a molehill can ruin your life if it’s allowed to continue, because in the longer term, it can creep into other areas of your life.

Tucson's Sentinel Peak, ("A" Mountain) was painted blue in honor of the nurses and other healthcare workers. This morning I went out and got a shot of it. Thank you #HealthCareHeroes! http://bgboydphoto.com/photos © 2020 BG Boyd Photography

Sometimes we don't appreciate the beauty of our own backyard. Just look up and she will always be there in all her glory. For Turtle. You popped in my head as the mountain was coming together.
