I’ve been starting to get burnout from playing Skyrim too much and legit felt sad about it but then I remembered, “Wait, there are thousands of other games out there so why be sad about it?”
So I’ll be trying to play the Fall of Avalon which I bought a few weeks ago but never got around to playing. It’s somewhat similar to Skyrim, according to reviews I’ve read, and the setting of the game’s story intrigues me.
I’m more of a medieval and open world fantasy RPG gameplay girlie so those are the types I prefer to play.
That moment when you’re innocently going about your day when you come up with a fun idea for a new character in Skyrim even though you swore to yourself you’d play through the whole game with your current one.
The Modding Assistant had to have 6 teeth pulled yesterday at the vet because he has the genetics that cause him to have bad gums and eventual teeth falling out. The worst part is both of his upper canines (the long vampire teeth) had to be pulled because they were loose and wriggling.
I feel so terrible about the pain he’s going through right now. He’s underneath my bed with a plate of canned gravy lovers food and a bowl of water, but I’m sitting here at work worrying about him and his recovery. I love the vet I go to for all my furry animals, but they told me all the worse case scenarios just so I can keep a sharp eye on him to take him back asap in case I see The Modding Assistant is not recovering as he should. But I was told he should recover fine.
Not gonna lie I broke down last night after getting him settled in and comfortable. I’ve already been feeling anxious lately about some other stuff and yesterday was just the cherry on top. I feel much better today but dang was yesterday hard. My poor orange baby is going through so much 😭
“A platypus cup?”
“PERRY THE PLATYPUS CUP?!?!”
Cozy Saturday gaming with the Modding Assistant who decided sitting right in front of my laptop is the perfect spot to sleep.
The Modding Assistant was sitting beside me as I was playing Skyrim so I quit my game to put on a show for him.
He enjoyed it.
Unnecessary update on The Modding Assistants but I’m updating y’all anyway because I’m turning into a crazy cat lady:
The Modding Assistant (big guy on the left) is healing nicely from having 6 teeth taken out. He’s eating like a champ and back to his usual orange cat activities. But there’s one catch…
The Modding Assistant’s Assistant (little guy on the right) has now become public enemy #1 and there have been hissing and growling squabbles for the past two weeks now. Thankfully, it is getting better because they have started to play together a little bit. There’s still some growling happening, though.
I find it hilarious because they were separated for only two days after The Modding Assistant’s surgery, and they seemingly forgot each other as a result. TWO DAYS. I got to see the infamous orange cat lack of brain cells in action xD
