Absolutely! Rattlers won’t admit it, but they like to be lorded-over by someone.
A Dread is a good choice because your Rattler will become his gatekeeper, protector and architect! He’ll want to build splendid traps to keep everyone safe and protected.
And what Dread would say no to such a zealous minion?

Glossy: Glossys thrive on attention and since you have free time to give them as much as they need I think it would be a good match! They’re as clean as birds can be (lol) and loves shiny toys and music to dance to.
Runner up:
Lilac: The Sans to the Papyrus he’s just as demanding for attention but laziness means he takes more naps in between. He’s a messy bird so you’ll have to clean out his nests often!
Lamia:
Twister: Twisters are my big boys and, like the Anacondas they are, they specialize in full body hugs! They’re laid back but do require some special treatment: access to water, even a bathtub, is important.
Runner up:
Constellation: Stellars are quite snuggly but you’ll have to tucker them out before hand! Luckily they’re self starters and will find things to do even if you aren’t involved!
Ampithere:
Marvels: Marvels are little rays of sunshine and will brighten any home. Their swap-side is strong and they can’t help but be optimistic! They enjoy cuddles and other forms of physical affection.
Stamps: Despite them being hyper focused on Art, Stamps are surprisingly affectionate! They enjoy cuddles and to be praised, especially on their art!
This might be a silly question, but are the "corrupted" Dreads blind in one eye or can they see out of it with the goop there?
In most of the Undertale media I consume Nightmare is blind in that eye.
However, when it comes to my Dreads, fun is number one! So if you have more fun with a Dread that can see with both eyes, more power to you!
I've been looking for a lamia bitty. Might I get a matchup? I've already got 2 other bitties, a lil bro and a little kitten bitty. The kitten bitty is a bb.☺️
I live in a 2 bedroom apartment but have built spaces for my bitties to have to themselves in the other room. Sweet setup. I work as a zookeeper and vet and do have an office n the zoo I have spaces for my bitties in if they want to come. I crochet, knit, sew, cook, do woodwork, and generally am an artist. My mountain of yarn goes up to the ceiling. My home always smells like essential oils. Peppermint and tea tree are the most common. It's a pretty calm quiet place and lifestyle. I enjoy snuggles and cuddles. I do make sure to get outside calm time by taking 2 walks daily. I read a lot and have an impressive collection of books. And jewelery. Spa days r a must. I do have a Wii and a small TV. I personally don't use it much but any bitty of mine would b welcome to use it any time.

For you I recommend:
Merlot: These Lamias love the finer things in life, spa days everyday! They also enjoy knitting doilies and holders for things like the remote controllers. So they can help you tackle your mountain of yarn! They’ll be impressed by your use of essential oils and would enjoy your library.
Stamp: For most artists I recommend a Stamp, they’re like little muses and cheerleaders! They’ll be very impressed by your many mediums and projects! They enjoy cuddling and will be curious about your essential oils. They’d love to accompany you to work and see all the animals, be prepared for many tiny drawings of your charges!
Dreads: The way to a Dread’s heart is through their love of books and it sounds like you are ahead of the game! He’d also be interested in your work and the medicine you practice. He won’t be cuddly at first, but you’ll get through to him quickly! He’d also be interested in your art, he’ll be impressed by your skill and variety, a truly capable minion for him!
A bitty matchup sounds fun! I would like to see if a bitty would actually manage to live in my conditions.
The bitty would need to deal with me waking up in the morning at 5am to get things like cooking, doing work, and just basically getting ready for the day.
I like to have company so it'd be fun if they could climb or something around me while I do stuff and I ask stuff like 'Do you think people would like this?' Or 'What do you think I should do today?'. Because I'm not the greatest at making choices so I ask people to do it for me.
Need them to remind me about everything like events or a item I forgot about, it happens often. I'm most likely to need someone who can keep up with me and remind me of my limits because I sometimes over do myself and just die on the floor sad.
I'm scared of all insects, arguments, and being alone. I need a little friend for comfort, even if they can't give any, I'm okay with them just being with me.
Either I'm loud or calm and collected, it depends on the person. If they seem timid, introverted, shy, and/or delicate I will be relaxed and leveled down. If they seem Extroverted, hyper, confident, and/or funny then it's the opposite. If they are both then I'm giving them a custom made personality of mine as I get to know them. I don't have a real personality, I have to make one up.

Puffs: Puffs are early risers and love cooking, especially baking! They can also be opinionated little noodles so don’t worry about trying to get them to sound off! They love to be useful so being your reminder buddy would make them feel proud! They like to keep busy but can slow down for cuddles.
Marvels: Marvels are another early rising bitty and are cuddle bugs to boot! They’d be very interested in learning your routine and help on any way you’ll allow! They have good memories and will be happy to help you remember anything you’ve forgotten.
Nebula: Nebulas are based on the Green Tree Python, who live in the canopy of trees, and are, therefore, excellent climbers. They also love curling around their adopters’ neck like a “boa”. It’ll take them awhile to get used to your schedule but once they do they’ll happily join you in the kitchen. They’re cheeky, so make sure they aren’t just saying “uh-huh” to everything you say!
I have a question; Are Dreads capable of handling a household that already has several Nightmare-types present within? I am highly concidering on adopting one but wanted to make sure they would be fine with such a place given time or if its best to not attempt so for the sake of their mental health?
I’m having a hard time answering this one, personally, I can think of a lot of reasons why it would be a bad idea rather than a good one…
Their self-loathing paired with their need to be superior to others, would he be able to accept another version of himself as an equal? Or just competition?
So I’m going to cop-out.

Pierces: It’s no secret that Killer types love cats! They love their independence and aloof nature. I expect a Pierce would love the same in your Grillby bitty!
Merlot: Merlots love cats because they remind them of their brothers, independent and selective of who they like. Earning the trust of your Grillby bitty will be a real feather in his cap!
Dread: Dreads like cats because they remind them of themselves, self sufficient and imposing. It’d be interesting to see how they react to each other’s assumptions.
I’ll take a match-up! I’m an INFP-T and my love languages are touch/quality time, so I love hugs/cuddling. I have autism (I'm good at masking though), mild social anxiety, and ADHD inattentive type. I'm also a people pleaser and I don't like conflicts, so I have a hard time saying no to people. I also struggle with sleeping at night, so I compensate with naps. I do tend to hyperfixate on my interests, and I do have the classic ADHD executive dysfunction, and I tend to be very forgetful as well.
I also get overwhelmed with a lot of social activity so I need recharge days (this can include hanging out quietly playing games/reading/watching YT, really anything that doesn't involve a lot of movements and social interaction). Some of my hobbies include reading/writing (high fantasy), D&D, gaming, and listening to music. I've already adopted a King, a Corny, and a Papython from Vex’s bitty shop, and I’m thinking about adopting maybe two from here. I would prefer ones that maybe are not quite as high energy since it can be kind of overwhelming for me. Thank you!

Nebula: These guys are laid back to the max, he’d probably get into napping competitions with your Corny, if that didn’t seem like too much work. Nebulas like to feel tall, so having them wrapped around your shoulders or have a perch on a bookcase or other tall object. They’re the perfect hang out companions for introvert adopters since they can interact as little or as much as you like!
Espresso: Espressos appreciate a creative adopters service since they love to create themselves. He’d be a good sounding board for your world building ideas and would love to hear about your DnD campaigns. Espressos are quiet bittys and can get overwhelmed easily, it’ll take him a while to get used to your King and Papython, but he will.
Suave: Suaves are flirty dorks, his dorkishness will love the stories you create and the random YouTube videos you’ll watch. You’ll just need to do the same and listen to his hyperfixations. I think he’ll be a good match for your and your current bitty family!
