Hi, it may be just me but the amputee guy will be someone else and not Eren, he's a shifter and his limbs grow back by itself I haven't see one shifter to stop the growing back plus they always have some kind of vapors around

Shifters can actually control their regeneration rate. That’s what happened at Utgard when Reiner was bitten by a titan. He could regenerate his arm just fine but had to pretend he was a regular soldier for his cover.

The big deal is how the amputee guy, assuming it’s Eren, is going to find a way to regenerate his leg without looking suspicious, or reach his goal without shifting while walking with crutches. He was sent to a hospital alongside Eldians who have no family nor relatives they can turn themselves to. The lack of background means no one ever is going to question his origins if that helps.
