Meet The Characters: Amren Fury and Bran Rutledge

Amren’s Bio

Name: Amren Fury

Name significance/meaning: “legendary son” lol

Traits: hot-headed, family oriented, romantic

Personality: Amren is full of anger. Forced into marriage with a mad king, her thoughts are clouded with hatred and revenge. She is naturally defiant and despises those who follow the king. She is stubborn and while her beauty attracts those of both sexes, she is quick to offend and her manners often repel people. When she isn’t seething quietly, she loves to sing and be outdoors doing something active. Don’t let her beauty fool you because this rose has many thorns.

Name significance/meaning: “from the broom hill”

Traits: Gloomy, loner, self-assured

Personality: Bran is the definition of dark and brooding. Growing up poor with only his sick mother, he has learned to hate the rich and powerful from a young age. He joined the rebel cause at 19 years old and has done terrible things he won’t admit even to himself. He is often described as being a bore to talk to but loyal to the rebel cause. While he is deadly and strict, deep down he longs for a connection with someone and he secretly dreams of one day living in the mountains with his partner. He also begrudgingly believes in soulmates but don’t ask him that.
