Day28: #trickortreat. Tricks are fun. #halloween will certainly be different this year. I really hope this is the only year we refrain from going door to door. We’re fortunate that this is the first year we were going to take our daughter out for Halloween so she doesn’t even know what it’s all about anyway so she’s not missing out on anything. Not to mention she definitely doesn’t need the candy. • This one was inspired by the art of @kimjunggius. Again more practice. Hillgoers Charity Event - Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team and BackStrongTrust

Join us for Hillgoers first charity event!

Having spent a number of years laid up with a bad back, it feels only right that I support BackStrongTrust with their aim to help people with back issues and hidden pain. Since my lower disc replacement, I can now enjoy this hiking lifestyle that I love so much, thanks to the superb medical care I received a few years ago now. 

I'm also very much committed to supporting Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team, my closest mountain rescue team. They provide a first class volunteer rescue service for walkers, climbers and others who enjoy outdoor activities in the Cairngorms, the hills of lower Donside and Deeside.  I have so much respect and gratitude for their commitment to our safety on the mountains.

Any money raised will be split 50/50 between the two charities, Hillgoers will take no money from this event. Further details will be released soon but if you'd like a day on the hills in aid of a good cause, please save the date! You can also contact us for more information.
