Want to know what’s great for sewing motivation but terrible for your back? Batch cutting, though the terrible for your back part probably only applies when you cut on the ground. This month I am narrowing down my focus even more from “finish my WIPs” to “finish my sewing WIPs.” But before I started that I decided to add more to the pile. Last night I tried out methods to construct my new project. I cut out four pieces of scrap and cut a small facsimile of my jumper/pinafore that's almost ready to be made. Not only does it have a lining, but it has button flaps on the shoulders. I just didn't know how to connect things. I am pretty sure I'm not going to do it the way other people would, but it looks like something I can live with. Now I know what to do and in which order.
