Neeltje bakery/cafe

I decided it would make more sense to post current stuff and add the previous reviews that I’ve done when I have time. Otherwise this shit will take a while to get current & where’s the fun in that?

So right now I’m at a little cafe called Neeltje on Javaisland in Oost (the eastern side of the city). I was actually going to go to another shop but the lights were off so I decided to take a joint walk and I stumbled upon this place that said I could get a coffee & crossaint for 3 euros. Done. 

It’s a small place with two long wooden tables with six red chairs each. I also just noticed four more high chairs against a thin table attached to the wall. 

There is a wooden staircase leading upstairs to the bathroom and I could barely fit in there like the ceiling was maybe two inches above my head & I’m 5′4″

I ordered a cappuccino and it came with like an inch of foam on the top :( But it has a lot of milk which I like because I don’t really like coffee... I just drink it to wake up and I would have ordered one but I took adderall today so I don’t want to have more caffeine lols

The music right now is like a melodic old women’s r&b group (maybe like destiny’s child?) song lol I hadn’t been paying attention but I just noticed it. 

So overall I like this place. I would order a tuna melt because it’s like a euro cheaper than Bagel & Beans (which makes bomb ass ones) but this cappuccino kind of filled me up ;)
