They exist within the Valundrin Desert on the outsides of Coyi, between Amurid. It is blisteringly hot and deep dunes paint its landscape. The sand in this land is deep purple!
The group were originally apart of Coyi but they separated themselves due to the ongoing war between Coyi and Amurid. The groups that travelled to the desert were a mixture of scholars, holy people, and regular citizens who had skills to get them along.
Some of the technology includes, ships that transform to tunnel under sand, wind tunnels that alert to drastic changes in the winds and temperature (very good for their terrifying raw gem sandstorms), and small mechanisms that are shaped like bugs who hold magical light within them. Those little mec creatures fly around and shed light to those traveling at night or those who might be trapped in sand storm. There is a good amount more than I’m pondering over but those are the more fun ideas!
