Got new glasses that I can actually wear in public (ones I had before were old and crooked and I couldn't see crap out of them).  I'm having trouble getting used to these though because, even though they're the same prescription I had for my contacts, they're stronger than my old glasses, so it's every time I get up I'm all dizzy.  I think it's getting better though

My. Freaking. Parents.

They don't seem to understand that I work best when they leave me the fuck alone.

When someone tries to force me to do something their way, I am going to bite and scratch and kick and claw to no end, because people can not shove their own will down my throat.  When it comes to me and how I do things, if it just affects me, I am going to do it my way, because usually my way works best for me, and that's just how it is.  If my mom continues to bring up the fact that I need to be monitored because I got one freaking C last semester (and it was just for that grading period), then I will purposely get Cs this year just to spite her.  My parents say I never compromise, but they're not getting that there's no need for compromise, because I'm freaking 16, a junior in high school, and I can take care of my own studies and my own freaking grades.  Yeah, I'm aware of the fact that this means I'm insanely stubborn, but that's just who I am.  Sorry.  Not going to change.  The way I do my schoolwork and my method of studying does not affect my parents in any way because I'm not a little kid anymore.  If I completely fail all my classes and drop out, and never ever have a chance at getting to college, that's my problem, not theirs.  Am I going to let that happen?  Hell no.  But if I did let that happen they need to realize that it wouldn't be their fault.  It would be my fault.  They need to trust me to do stuff on my own.  For the love of god.  Trust me, people.  I'm capable of graduating high school and getting to college on my own.  Please.

I'm switching from a desktop to a laptop.

And although I'm the one that wanted to switch, well, I feel kind of sad because I've grown all attached n' stuff to this desktop.

I would be a writer! I would spill out tiny pieces of my soul for the edification and entertainment of the populace at large.

2. How long have you had your Tumblr?

It'll be a year come November.

3. What did you want to grow up to be when you were little?

A witch bride ballerina. I think I've done pretty well.

4. What is the craziest fandom you’ve ever encountered? Are you a part of this fandom?

I don't know. I've heard about shenanigans in a bunch of big ones, but I haven't really participated in any big fandoms ever. 

5. Android or Apple? Which do you prefer?

Neither. My telephone makes calls, my iPod holds music and movies (and cartoons), and my laptop connects to the Internet. I am fine with this division of labour.

6. Are you a person with a sweet-tooth, or are you more for salty foods?

That depends. I do, however, have a weakness for nachos, and those yummy flavoured Triscuits.

7. What is the color of your bedroom’s walls?

Pink. No, really.

8. What is your favorite TV show?

Do cancelled ones count? Because I don't watch a lot of TV and every show I have ever loved seems to have been cancelled.

9. What is your favorite genre when it comes to books?

Fantasy! Bonus points if it makes me think (and even more bonus points if it managed that without being overwrought and grandiose, and a great big shining trophy if it manages to do all of the above AND make me laugh).

10. What is the last thing you ate?

I love that essay. I don’t like DxS but I don’t like DxV either. Although I like DxV more than I like DxS, mainly because Valerie did have a huge change throughout the series and she wasn’t even a main character. Sam didn’t have any dramatic changes until season 3, which completely ruined her character anyway. If I didn’t ship CanonxOC so hard I’d be a DxV shipper for sure.

:'D  Thank you!  And I completely agree about Valerie and Sam respectively, as I hope I made clear in my essay.  ;)  Sam had a lot of potential, and they tried to make her "strong and independent," but that only came across through her words and not so much her actions, especially as time went on.  :/

God, I’m usually a Danny/Sam shipper, but you have supplied some awesome points here.  For the longest time, I’ve gone along with whatever ship is canon in a fandom, but recently I’ve been trying to question myself and why I ship this or that particular pairing.  I started having mixed feelings about Danny/Sam anyway during season 3, but I never really got Danny/Valerie until now.  So, uh, thanks.

You're very welcome.  B-)  I can definitely see the appeal of Danny/Sam - I usually ship friendship-to-romantic ships, and they are obviously very close.  I'd just like for Sam to back off a little and for Danny to figure out what's right on his own more often.  I don't want them to become the kind of couple where Sam just takes the reins and controls his every move, which I think could be a consequence of the fact that they've been friends so long and he doesn't want to hurt her.  

But I'm glad you see the appeal of D/V now, as well.  :)  I obviously really like it.  XD
