Madeline Ford as Amy Cahill;
Kevin Quinn as Dan Cahill;
Toni Mahfud as Ian Kabra;
Banita Sandhu as Natalie Kabra.
love shipping amyan. never canon. barely liked each other. don't even know what are they. enemies to lovers? friends to lovers? strangers to enemies to not quite lovers to allies to friends? will never know. the writers never knew either. still hooked tho

@le-ekaterina I saw a post of yours today about Evamy, Jamy and Amyan and I didn't read everything because I didn't understand all the words and because it was too long but in the end you said that you would like to debate with someone about it. So let's go.
I am an Amyan shipper. I don't hate Jake despite making jokes about hating him all the time. I just think that he is a very expendable character compared to others who died and that for me were more important to the history and the plot than him, such as: William McIntyre, Natalie Kabra, Irina Spasky, Alistair Oh and so on.
As I said before, I don't really like relationships between non-Cahills and Cahills because for me people who are not Cahills do not understand the complicated functioning of this family.
Evamy was better as a friendship. Individually talking Evan was a really cute and loyal guy and WAY MORE than Amy deserved.
Jamy for me is just...I hate Jamy but I'm gonna try to see your point. Jake and Amy met. Jake hated Dan and his friendship with Atticus and think with me: Although Amy and Dan fight, as normal siblings do, they loved each other. And after going through the clue hunt, they must love each other even more considering that they almost lost each other so many times. So Amy liking so much someone who hated her brother seems like an inconceivable and unreal idea to me. About Ian he seems to hate Dan more for fun. Although Ian doesn't like him very much, I never saw Ian underestimate Dan's intelligence like Jake did. And if something happened to Ian, I bet Dan would miss him and see Saladin and Ian fighting and more. Ian and Dan for me had everything to be a dynamic duo. Returning to Jamy:Amy thinks he's cute and Jake thinks she's cute.
Then Jake starts to flirt with her even though he knows she has a boyfriend. Ian did this Just a couple of times the series and it was more to tease her. Even though Ian still liked Amy, he respected Amy's new boyfriend. He even had a friendship that I liked a lot with Evan. Then we have Amy cheating. Jake never showed for me anything for Amy other than finding her beautiful and the same with Amy. Them they just showed up kissing and saying super mushy and disgusting things to each other out of nowhere made zero sense.
You said that the best characters are the ones that we can identify with and in this part I fully agree with you. But for me, cheating has no forgiveness, so that is not at all relatable to me. I understand that Amy was very pressured and nervous but she had opportunities to break up with Evan. It was evident that she wanted to involve as few non-Cahills as possible in CvS so she could break up with him and send him home. And she would have done the same with Jake and Atticus if Atticus was not a guardian. Then Evan dies and they get together. I'm sorry but you can't say Jamy got a good development when it clearly didn't.
Going to Amyan. Amy always thought Ian was good-looking. On Ian's side, he just thought she was smart but too shy and certainly wouldn't be his type. And that changes on The Sword Thief. They start to flirt, to fall in love and then Ian and Natalie arrests her, Dan and Alistair in the South Korean cave. But Ian knew they wouldn't die. There were bats in the cave and if there were bats it had an entrance and an exit.
He knew that Amy would be smart enough to find that way out. He didn't want to kill her just to scare her and Dan to give up the hunt. PETER LERANGIS CONFIRMED IT. And then in the other books we have a little bit of Amyan but nothing like The Sword Thief but you can see that Amyan's mutual attraction is still there. Honestly if the authors wanted to start something with Jamy they should have ended what they had with Amyan first. Because Amyan got more chemestry and more development than Evamy and Jamy in ONLY ONE BOOK than these two on many books.
And also Say to me that Jake is more charismatic than Ian for me is a joke. Ian is one of the most charismatic characters of THE WHOLE SERIES. If Jake were really more charismatic he would be more loved and almost the entire fandom hates him. And Ian I didn't see even a single person on the fandom who didn't love him. The boy is not only charismatic, he is also iconic, sassy and badass. He also got a extremely good character evolution what Jake should have and he didn't and Evan didn't even had a chance to have.
The biggest problem with Jamy that overcomes all the other ones is that they introduced a new asshole boy (Jake) to Amy when she already had an asshole boy (Ian). It was an unnecessary repetition. And Ian lost everything and yet he had an incredible and convincing and coherent redemption arc for me. And Ian had reasons to be an asshole: His mother literally trained, taught and manipulated him to be like that. And Jake compared to other characters is simply uninteresting and for me if he was there or not it wouldn't make a difference.
So...I think It's that.
Truths that not even Lucians can hide(Sorry, I don't make the rules):
1-The Sword Thief it's the most LOVELY book ever. And the best on the whole series. And you know why(A.M.Y.A.N and even a little bit of Danatalie);
2-Rick Riordan, Gordon Korman, Jude Watson and Peter Lerangis are the best authors of the series;
3-Jerk Rosenbloom NEEDS TO DIE. AND NEEDS TO DIE NOW. It should have been him. Not Evan.
4-The whole cluehunter fandom and the whole Cahill family itself, principally me, HATES DAVID BALDACCI AND DoD.
5-Carian and Jamy sucks.
6-NATALIE. AND. EVAN. DIDN'T. DIE!!! THEY ARE ALIVE. ACCEPT THE FACTS.
7-Isabel is the worst villain of the series. She is just the most mean person in the entire world. I know Vesper One was a good opponent but she just shot her own daughter and did a lot of other bad things. Vesper One only threatened and never did nothing so bad as Isabel. Pierce and The Outcast were just weak, compared to Vesper One, and miles away from Isabel's wickedness. Make her good in the end was a huge joke. She never liked her children and shot Natalie and even threatened to kill her so it didn't make sense for her to become good out of nowhere.
8-Amyan chemistry is just undeniable.
9-Chemestry. Something that Carian and Jamy will never know the meaning.
10-The most iconic lines are:"Lovely." and "Shoot to kill?".
11-Ian and Natalie are the characters that have developed and evolved the most.
12-Ian and Natalie were everyone's favorite character. Principally Ian. Even when he is not your favorite character, he is your favorite character. And if Natalie were better used, she could be as loved as Ian.
DoD is trash and never happen. Natalie and Evan didn't die. Natalie and Dan date. Jake died. Carian never happen too. Amyan is canon. End of the whole The 39 Clues history.
