This is Amy Jo!
A mother of five, an artist, and one of the brave faces behind the Only Talent movement.
When we approached Amy Jo about being part of Buy The Record, Not The Bod, she immediately understood the message. In a world that often tells young people their value comes from likes, clicks, and appearance, Amy Jo believes something different. She believes talent matters. Creativity matters. Hard work matters.
As a mom raising five children, she wants them to know they never have to compromise who they are to chase a dream. She wants them to see that their gifts, their passions, and their talents are enough.
That's why she took a chance on this campaign.
The beautiful irony of Only Talent isn't lost on her. The entire movement shines a light on the fact that musicians, artists, writers, photographers, and creators deserve a livable wage for the work they pour their hearts into. If we want art to survive, we have to support the artists creating it.
Amy Jo brought her A-game to every photograph, every interview, and every conversation surrounding this project. More importantly, she brought her heart.
Today she's holding her enlarged magazine cover, but what I see is something much bigger, a woman leading by example, standing up for artists, standing up for talent, and showing the next generation that their worth is found in what they create, not what they're willing to give away.
Stay Golden, Amy Jo. We're proud to have you on this journey. ❤️
