I can't begin to tell you how scarily fast this happens and how without warning or trigger it is. I'll be having a good time, laughing, feeling joy, happy, or excited, and then it's like a switch just... flips. That middle feeling is just. So damn fast. It's me trying so damn hard to hang onto what was so easy a moment before, and the joy just bleeds out of me until I'm left... still. Inert and empty. It never fucking works.
It's not fun. It's not fair. I want to enjoy life as it happens, and I wanna be happy, goddamnit. I hate that this happens. It's so fucking awful.
Most of the votes said that while you may not buy art for yourself, you'd be wiling to share the commissions page around. Honestly, that really does mean a lot, so I'm giving it a go anyways. I don't expect a lot here, but at least I got to spend at least 4 hours making some really neat art for this! *^_^* If nothing else, thank you for that opportunity!

But yes. Telling your chronically optimistic buddy to please don't get infected because I literally cannot bear to consciously kill you if that happens is a little more difficult than you'd think. Especially if you have a hard time saying "I don't want to" as an individual person apart from your demon God.
