REVIEW: KIKO NAILPOLISH
Last Friday my boyfriend and myself took a trip to London with the intention of going to museums but instead we ended up shopping. The lure of Westfields was just too much! I had never been to Westfields before but something I love about London is that there are so many shops which can not be found anywhere else in my area. KIKO is one of those shops, I had heard the name before through blogs such as Zoella so when I saw the shop I just had to go in and to my joy they had a massive sale! Now, due to having a hands on job and studies I almost never paint my nails anymore although I’d love too but these shades really caught my eye.
These polished do not have names but they do have numbers, on the left is 42 from the cupcake range and right is 7.
42 is to say the least unimpressive, the colour first reminded me of frosting and summer but on the nails it just looks sickly and messy. I do not blame the brand for this just that maybe the colour doesn’t work for me.
7 on the other hand is a lovely wearable summery colour which can also lend to the other seasons quite well. It applies smooth and the consistency is very liquid and thin which is just the way I like my polishes, I only requires 2 coats to make it look good enough to eat!
Overall I say these polishes are very good quality for the bargain £2.50 I paid for them! The cupcake polish just isn’t suitable for my colouring but my well suit someone with darker skin tones. I’m a very pale girl so this is no fault to the brand.
