I just realized a huge part of why I'm so nocturnal even though I'm technically a morning person

The light genuinely bothers me so much, like it just hurts and overstimulates me slowly and constantly like boiling a frog, NOT TO MENTION the heat! The difference between sitting under a blanket during the day vs at night is the difference between being perfectly comfortable and sweating my ass off
