“I think you’re a very observant person, and now I find myself wanting to know more about who you are,” Nahi says with a smile, curiosity flickering in her eyes. “Things like this... they’re odd for me. I have this need to solve every puzzle I encounter but I hold back, because I enjoy the mystery too. What a sad world it would be if there were nothing left to wonder about.” A soft chuckle dances across her lips. “I’ve always felt a connection to the sun, which is why the mystery of An’she intrigues me. I once spent time with a scholar of mythos back in Dalaran. He told me there isn’t much known about An’she. Mu’sha has ties to Elune, as moon goddesses but An’she stands alone as the only sun deity in the Azerothian pantheon.”

Her lips quirk to the side, then lift in a shy smile. “It’s probably a strange topic to bring up, but I still remember how passionate he was. It inspired me to want to understand more.”

Shal'dorei and Fal'dorei story revamp

The Fal’dorei

Originally Exiled Nightborne, they began as a family exiled from Suramar, and as they sought a cure for their addiction to the night well, they gathered other nightfallen and exiles. Eventually they were gifted an Arcan’dor tree by a Highmountain Tauren by the name of Lo'shiok Ontano. However, Orathiss rejected it, as she would be connected to An'she, and the priestess would not risk her connection to Elune for their salvation. Afterwards, they were unable to find an alternative to the Arcan'dor, and as a last resort Orathiss, pleaded to Elune to soothe their pain from the addiction they suffered. She answered by transforming them all into the Fal’dorei, as Elune adored spiders. They are now extremely possessive over the ruins of Elune’s temples in Suramar and believe that they are Elune’s chosen. This causes them to be very aggressive to other races. However, Orathiss’s daughter, Kaol’striss, was leading a rebellion. She began the rebellion because she believed that  they should be putting their gift to use to help protect their former people, the Nightborne, and Suramar. The Champion eventually aids the rebellion and Kaol’striss is able to convince her mother and father to turn to her side. After that they promise to aid the dusklilly rebellion. After the war, the Fal'dorei became neutral to the alliance and horde, however they are horde leaning. They have now taken to guarding the archways and ley stations.

They greatly get along with the Nightborne, Trolls, Forsaken, and the Kaldorei.

The Nightborne

The Nightborne learned from Kaol'striss of the Tauren that had aided them with an Arcan'dor a lifetime ago, and after much search the elderly Ontano is found. Unlike the Fal’dorei, the Nightborne collectively agree to the blessing of An’she, and therefore being tied to him. After eating the Arcan'dor fruit, some gained a connection to An’she and their eyes became golden from it. After the war, some Nightborne sought to strengthen this connection and began to learn from the Tauren.

This is what I imagine An'she and Elune's mortal forms look like. I like to think these are for blending into society, and that they have forms that reflect their godhood

Shaya Sunbearer

Devout of An'she, oathsworn to the legacy of the lost Sunbearer Tribe of Uldum.

I thought I had posted my long backstory for this character but in effect I made this character out of spite for Blizzard cutting the An'she content from Uldum for the Sunwalkers, in favor of the Indiana Jones gag lol, so this is Shaya Sunbearer, a Shu'halo tauren who's splinter tribe fled into Tanaris and then Uldum to escape the Centaur raiders, ultimately to perish to the harsh conditions of the desert. Eventually by some miracle, half-dead, she finds a hidden oasis, containing the lost ruins of the Sunbearer tribe, devotees of An'she who lived in harmony in Uldum until madness afflicted the Stoneborn Tol'vir, and they were wiped out. She is the last bearer of their history and legacy, a devotee of An'she and a paragon of the Sunwalkers.

Kaldorei Eye Headcanons

Silver and Night warrior eyes: obviously these are tied to Elune

Blue eyes: These eyes come from the Blue Child's blessing. They're most commonly found on priestesses, but many are born with them. The Kaldorei believe that those with blue eyes tend to be pure of heart and intentions, and can see through the corruption of fel.

Amber eyes: theses eyes indicate that the person has strong druidic potential, but the source of the Amber color can be traced back to An'she. Despite this, he doesn't mean to give out his blessings to the Kaldorei, they simply received them through their ties to the balance of the world

What is your relationship with An'she and those who wield her powers?

The tauren  shifts his weight uncomfortably. “I owe the Earthmother and all of her kin a debt… Hrm, I am shamed to think that An’she and Mu’sha see the, hrm, creature that I am now but I hope that I can use the, hmm” Suthar pauses, flicking his ears and snorts. “Beasts that can kill a tribe are often tamed, yes. I hope that I help by stopping those who corrupt and destroy with malice as a tamed wolf helps the hunt instead of hindering, yes?”

Grunting and rolling his shoulders, Suthar pauses for a moment. “As to the Sunwalkers, while it is not, ah, pleasant to be close to them, much less so when they call for An’she’s aid, I mearly ask not to be a subject of their, hrm, ‘healing’. If I can aid them then I will, naturally, otherwise it is best to stay appart.”
