The Rookies + AN5001
For the past month I’ve been working on my entry to The Rookies Knight Spider Animation Challenge. The contest is to make a 10 second animation using the assets and scene provided. It was certainly a challenge.

Alongside this entry, I made a version with a different scene for my module submission.
I’m happier with this version as it is visually more appealing with a full set and elludes to a narrative more than the contest version.
The story I came up with for this is that the spider had been living in this house, not doing much, until he sees the young kid who lives there watching spiderman and playing with his spiderman toys. This inspires the knight spider to try to be cool and scale the coffee table. Unfortunately, it doesn't go so well.
There was a version of the rig that had fur, but unfortanetly I was unable to import it from Maya into my Blender scene due to the size of it. It is a shame as the version with fur was more realistic looking so would have fit better into the scene.
