I had a couple people ask me, but no Anachronus isn't being cancelled or anything. I just got burned out from it and then began to fall behind in writing anything at all, and also have been changing a lot of things within Anachronus that I would have been too stubborn to change 4 years ago.

With the changes I'm coming up with and the massive burn out I got, as well as simply falling behind with my deadlines, I decided to start writing Wild Card short stories so I don't stop writing and don't feel as burned out. Keeping myself fresh and continuing to practice.

That being said, Wild Card #3 sometime in the next few days.

Prologue for Anachronus Book One is complete. Now just 14 chapters or so to go. Gotta start somewhere! :)

ANACHRONUS | A TALE OF TIME — We're Back!

It's been quite a while since news of Anachronus really broke. Since the release of Volume 4, the series itself has been on hiatus. Between personal life issues, school, moving, and a fair bit of other chaotic events, there wasn't much time to devote to the passionate project that is ANACHRONUS.

That's now changing.

After over 3 months of being on hiatus, ANACHRONUS IS BACK. It's self-imposed break is officially over and it's time for the future! The story of our heroes is set to continue, but now it will do so in a somewhat different way. However, while different, this will make the series even better.

Rather than working on and releasing Volume 5 and Volume 6 as planned, the series will be getting a fresh start.

What was once Volumes 1 and 2 will soon become Book One – a rewrite and revision of the first two volumes into what could be considered a proper novel. Volumes 3 and 4 will get similar treatment, becoming Book Two.

This will mark the first drastic change in the series as it moves from being a passionate project of mine and becomes a fully fleshed out and detailed work, turning into what would be considered a true novel. The series will finally be making the jump into the road of both publication and growth.

This is thanks to the overwhelming support and feedback that have helped make decisions regarding Anachronus much easier and thought out as of late. This decision comes after a lot of thought regarding the series, and will be the best move to help it grow and reach as many readers as possible.

I really hope you enjoy what is to come with ANACHRONUS and keep following! Things are going to be getting pretty big from here on out! :D

Tumblr Blog 1-2-3-GO! | Anachronus Tumblr is Live

The Anachronus Tumblr is now going live! As issues with the website have made updating somewhat difficult, all updates will go through the tumblr blog until the website is sorted out.

In addition to the blog being live, there will be news considering the current hiatus of Anachronus and the future – news that's coming soon!

It doesn't look pretty yet as I just made it, but look for this blog to become the main hub for me sharing Anachronus info. As this blog has really become about my personal stuff moreso than everything else, some of the Anachronus and writing related entries get lost in the storm.

Anachronus Blog! | Greek Mythology & Other Inspirations/References.

Been doing a lot of prep work for the upcoming story arc (Volumes 5 & 6) and I've been getting a major refresher course in Greek Mythology. Obviously there are some references (Ananke, Moire) but there's going to be a lot more coming up in the next story arc.

Through the story of Anachronus there will be numerous references to Greek Mythology, but also Norse, Roman, and even ancient Japanese and Chinese mythology. Anachronus is bringing together a lot of different references and styles, which in the long run will really help attribute to its longevity.

You'll probably see how certain characters draw out a certain type of mythology as well. Not so specific in the next arc, but as the story progresses further and further you'll begin to see certain characters draw a lot of inspiration from a certain mythology.

Look forward to all kinds of references and different forms of inspiration that find themselves sneaking into the story and characters -- not to mention the many that have already found themselves in there, ohoho.

You might even notice some things not taken from a mythology but in fact another series. I'll give you a hint – The city name from Volume 4? The town name from the end of V2 and beginning of V3? Those are just two references to a certain series! :P
