Bullet Journal is and analog journaling and note taking system for the digital age
I've been using a variant of this method on and off since college, but I really dig this approach - much cleaner. Especially since my new iCal (Maverick on macbook) and my old iCal (mountain lion iMac) are not synced... and will not be until everything C4D/AE CC is good with Maverick.* I can't reenter information in two calendars when I have trouble even typing in one, so analog it is- events will be annotated in iCal for email purposes, but notes and tasks on paper.
He suggests gridlined paper, but my pocket "dot pattern" writer's bloc Kikkerland journals finally have a purpose and i can track events that extend w/o colorcoding on iCal/ cluttered Stickies*** (eventually I'll get back to using iCal at full speed, when I get my new phone).**
*the horror stories online from Nov beta was terrible. My Macbook made it, but I'm wary of unnecessary upgrades.
**the UI is why i'm switching to an iPhone. I'm still using Gmail though cause I hate the Mac Mail client (even the Outlook web app is prettier).
***I kind of hate Stickies unless I'm noting something I have to do that moment.
