YOU should mess around in your browsers setting more.
From: Man who just messed around in his browers settings (everything is shades of green now)
why do you care about internet privacy, simon asks in an age where ur every move online is tracked by various invasive trackers which many people take strides to avoid by using tracker blockers like privacy opossum and privacy badger, or secure browsers like TOR. bold of him to assume that his statcounter can somehow dodge these technologies which prevent even facebook and google from tracking you.
i had tracker blockers well before i even knew simon existed. he doesn't know my ip and he never has.
and i mean, yeah, people might not be comfortable with the idea of the self proclaimed people eating cryptid storing their ip address and connecting it to them for his own personal gain...
also, what's with this new sexual harassment as a comeback bullshit?
Pretty much every browser auto-blocks IP trackers now anyway. Like I get a notification of how many IP trackers have been blocked in the past month even when I'm on my ipad (aka, Safari) these days.
I fixed a bug.. sorta, I had a checkbox not checking and unchecking and now it is checking but not unchecking so that is progress but minimal progress and I am not sure how I fixed it.. hmm..

I’m trying out LinkTree as an option to gather all my fandom links (and TBC original coming to RoyalRoad soon).
So far, I like it. Thought other fan creators might want to check it out - it means only keeping one list/bio up-to-date and so far seems pretty good. Will report back on how it goes longer term!
A customer: wants to do a 4-week trial/POC before signing a 100k+ contract (fair). Me, joking: what if, instead, I gave you all the documentation and a pinky promise it'll work for your usecase and you just sign a contract now, instead.
Customer: well if it comes with a pinky-promise, sure. :)
Me (thinking they're also joking): starts to set up the POC. Deal closure: Hey, your customer just asked for a contract. Me:
My account exec: Customer just signed. How'd you get them to agree to close without a POC?
Me:
My manager: Hey can you put together an internal resource for strategies you use to avoid POCs?
Me:
Manager: Maybe you could share in next week's team meeting.
