Analog circuitry is powered by direct current which fluctuates as it passes through a device such as a summing mixer. This gives the audio a familiar quality we've grown to almost expect from commercial releases. In this video Fab from PureMix.net explains how to setup for analog summing in Pro Tools.
1. Patch and route your final mix from Pro Tools to an outboard summing device like the Dangerous Music 2-Bus.
2. Bring the summed stereo signal back into Pro Tools.
3. Print the final, summed mix.
