Some really beautiful images from old parks and fairs, plus a history of rides. Hits topics like landscape, movement, sound and story, simulation, rhythmic motion.. More academic than Venturi's Browns and Izenour'sLearning from Las Vegas, which is a more practical handbook about how to design an architecture of desire, but good on theory and cultural analyses.
