// packaging as process
Design detail from the Boots 2200 Zoom Super 8
The box is all hard edges and soft wear — cracked label, faded lines. Typography that hums with the optimism of obsolete futures. It’s graphic design that never expected to be archived.
But here it is. Not as nostalgia — but as proof of process. An analogue object with decay baked in. A reminder that tools were once beautiful by default. And manuals were typeset with care.
This belongs in the Glitch Lab not just for what it captures, but for how it was presented to be used.
Design matters. Even when forgotten. Especially then.
