Sorry for the silence! I may be MIA here, but offline I've got a million awesome things going on with Anamcael. Lots of progress, lots of excitement. And things I can't go into details about because - they're spoilers.

But I am very much alive. Just sucked into the page.

Anamcael

A Space Fantasy Cyberpunk series with psychic powers, magic, reincarnation, shapeshifting, soulmates, fantasy-based aliens, a corrupt corporation, and talking animals.

Carmen, thought to be haunted by the spirit of one of the universe's most powerful weapon-makers and blamed for the deaths of entire countries, is trying to keep out of sight while discretely finding her soulmate whom she hasn't seen in a lifetime. But when her best friend comes up missing and she starts looking into what happened, she finds herself plunged into the life she was last killed in.

Liron, a detective's assistant, who has taken up the work in order to find their missing romantic-partner, is having a normal day when the city's barriers are breached by outsiders on the run from the world above. Liron finds more than what they bargained for after they broke their own rule and started caring about the safety of one of the outsiders.

Both worlds collide as the two pursue the cause for why people are coming up missing and do it without alerting the government of the secret war going on under their streets. Or else the unwanted attention may lead to worse consequences.

Me: *Tweaking my current story's worldbuilding so that I can have a reason to have this fun character I thought up for a book down the road. Already been making tons of notes for that character, who readers won't see for a while. Lol.*

Thanks for the tag, @akiwitch ! xD Oooooh. I love this kind of prompt. The prompt I got is: "Please don't go." I'm going to do a fun mood, although dramatic or desperate would be so easy. xD

Carmen

Carmen held her hand out, "Please! Don't go!" Liron stood up, their warmth replaced by the cold air from beyond the blanket. "The movie's over...?" "But now I'm cold..."

Liron

Raz moaned. "Ugh. Looks like I'll be working overtime tonight. Guess I gotta sacrifice myself for the greater good again!" Liron blinked. "Oh. That's terrible. Please don't go." Carmen elbowed Liron in their side.

Raz

"NOooooooOOOoo! Please! Don't go!!!" Shikha held up the last piece of pizza and grinned. "Too slow, boy! Maybe if you'd eat your food instead of playing with it, you would've gotten to enjoy it." "I was enjoying it..."

Shikha

"AAAAAA! UGH. No! NO. Please don't go!! Damn it!!" She tossed the game controller to the side as the med-kit floated away on screen, out of her character's grasp.

Kitner

Carmen looked down at the floor. "Um.., you okay?" Kitner was lying on his back. "Peachy. Shikha stole my wallet, again, and we are out of tea. I need to go get some. I begged. I cried out the window. I texted her. She told me to beg harder, so I did. I even said, 'please don't go!' But it wasn't enough. She said her video game release day was more important than my tea." "She has her own money...?" "I was a tad bit late in paying her this last time." "Ah."
