🐣 with Eirika? Now you have me curious!
@anamnesisqueen
For once in his life, Valter was the bashful one, hiding his face into his twin’s shoulder slightly as he peeked out to see the young princess. Walter giggled a bit, finding the reversal of their roles a bit silly and charming.
“Sh-she’s pretty, isn’t -- isn’t she?” he teased, grinning at him.
“Um...” Valter looked down a bit, cheeks flushing. “... Yeah.”
“Why don’t -- why d... don’t you go t-talk to her?”
“Um...” Valter shook his head. “No thanks...” he sighed pensively.
Walter rolled his eyes, stepped behind his brother and gave a little push in her direction, much to the boy’s surprise.

A blind date. Eliwood really wasn’t entirely sure if it was a good idea or not. Maybe he had been remiss to allow Hector to talk him into it. Had it been unwise to be ushered to his seat? Should he have awaited his date’s arrival? No, it would be easier for her to find him by using his name with the hostess, being shown to the same table, than to try and pick each other out among the line at the door.
But with each passing moment, Eliwood couldn’t help but worry. What if she had decided not to show up? What if Eliwood were doomed to wait alone at this table all night? What would he tell Hector if such misfortune befell him? It would be a sad, lonely walk home if that happened.
Just as he was beginning to let himself travel down that worrisome path, Eliwood spotted teal hair near the entrance. That fit the description he’d been given. Was it her? Or was it just someone who happened to match her description? Indeed, she was being led his way. It had to be her. It had to be. Should he stand up to greet her? But what if she walked right past his table? Oh, Elimine preserve him, he would die from embarrassment if that happened. But no-- the hostess led her straight to Eliwood’s table. It seemed it was her! Eliwood practically shot up out of his chair before remembering himself, clearing his throat and adjusting his outfit before extending a hand to her.
“Are you miss Eirika?” Eliwood inquired, a gentle, pleasant smile plastered across his cheeks as he tried his best to hide the worry that had been hovering over his shoulder. “My name is Eliwood. I believe we are, erm... blind dates.”

Felicia could be seen fiddling with the rim of her dress as she wasn’t sure what to feel... She had completely forgotten that people could still die. That they could draw their final breath and just... Lose signs of life....
She was used to seeing people falling in battle and being revived by the summon that Gunnthra’s death was a harsh slap across her face.
They were in a war zone and people can die. The heroes were lucky that they were still standing... Because of the contact bonded with the summoner... She was lucky she had the contact with the summoner.
“What to do....” Felicia mumbled quietly. She wanted to distract herself from the current events and see if she could somewhat cheer herself up.
Magic: Selena vs Eirika
@valorandgold & @anamnesisqueen Coin Toss: Selena casts first
“Not one, but two magical ladies of Grado! And it looks like the queen will be casting dark magic. Lady Selena has not chosen an element in advance, it looks like she has been given a wind tome!”
“I bet given a certain general’s comments during her brother’s match, Eirika will be eager to prove her skill.”
SELENA FIRST CAST: 2pts
SECOND CAST: 2pts
THIRD CAST: 3pts
FOURTH CAST: MISS
As the triad of dust-devils Selena has conjured grow bigger, she loses control of them. While attempting to add a fourth into her gusty-juggling, Selena miscast the spell and the dust-devils break in messy sputtered, blowing dirt on Selena’s face.
FIFTH CAST: 1pt
ACCURACY: 1.6pt average
“Oh dear, I hope she’s alright. That fourth spell was a misstep, but Lady Selena’s score is still quite high. Let’s see how the Queen of Grado reciprocates!”
“I think I’ve got dust in my eyes a- and- ACHOO!”
EIRIKA FIRST CAST: 2pts
SECOND CAST: MISS
Eirika has gathered shadows around her, morphing them into little shapes that sparkle like midnight opals in the afternoon sun. Black rabbits hop about the arena for a moment, but as Eirika casts her second spell, she says the wrong word in her incantation, and the rabbits morph, turning into distorted, vicious creatures that want to turn on her until they are dispelled completely.
THIRD CAST: 1pt
FOURTH CAST: 3pts
FIFTH: 1pt
ACCURACY: 1.4pt average
“How frightening! Dark magic has quite the imagination, doesn’t it?”
“See, this is exactly why I’m never touching a tome... Even if it weren’t for the fact that I have no talent in the art. Isn’t that stuff inherited - how come I’m the odd one out in our family?”
“Our last mage going to the Quarter-Finals is Lady Selena! Congratulations!”
SELENA VICTORY!!!

❝ Look, Eirika!! Nearly a perfect score!! What do you think?? ❞
〔 💀 〕
Eirika chuckled, smiling down at the stuffed, satisfied Chetak. "I labour to believe you serve as mount to that waste of human life." Stepping over, she scratches behind the wyvern's...ears? Horns? Before heading off to her appointment. "Sweet dreams, Chetak. You are long overdue a break." [@anamnesisqueen]
@anamnesisqueen
Chetak snoozed softly, most of her head tucked safely under her wing, tail neatly curled around her body. The soft, gentle sensation of the ear scritches roused her somewhat, and one sleepy, red eye opened to observe the kind princess showing her such kind attention.
She sleepily raised her head and nuzzled the soft hand, her thin, forked tongue flicking out occasionally to familiarize her with the smell. Blue lady... Nice. Very pretty. Kind hands.
She tucked her head back under her wing, to finish out her long slumber for the night. She hoped she would get even more fish in the morning!

“Why, that tomes of yours ...”
There was no mistaking the cover. Knoll had seen it many times while he served in Grado’s court; that tome always held his fascination, although, at the time, he hadn’t yet had the power necessary to master Glepnir. Upon coming to this world, he finds himself astounded that both he and this version of Eirika held two separate copies of the same tome. Fascinating.
“It is a duplicate of mine. But, how is that possible? To my knowledge, there is only one of each of Magvel’s regalia.”
