Yknow if we're put here doing unnecessarily gritty shows why not give the ppl (me) what they want and make an animorphs live action tv show.
Sometimes that pm seymore fella becomes my adhd meds
Blitzo was being hunted by Stolas: he ran through the scorching hot deserts of Wrath the volcanic ash fell from the skies. Slipping into an open mouth cave where the low hanging stalactites dripped water. The Tiny Lizard was alone.
His family had turned on him: something was wrong, they were infected: this vapor had turned them all into animals. Millie and Moxie had lost their minds. Moxie had cornered Blitzo Half formed into a rabid possum his wife was turning before their very eyes. Blitzo bit his lip turning his flintlock onto the gun specialist. The changeling hissed swatting the gun away and jumping at Blitzo fangs barred. Blitzo had his own problems: he was shrinking his body was turning into a Lizard. His mind was reverting: he was becoming more curious- which wouldn’t be so bad- but he had the worst luck. Loona had surprised him, one night snapping her jaws. She had caught him too: he could feel his spine start to break. If it weren’t for Stolas flying in and scratching out her eyes: Blitzo would’ve been dead. Heart pounding he searches through the dark caverns of the caves: he could hear the sound of a fizzing rattle. The Cowboy was infected too. But the snake, hadn’t lost his mind. “Blittzssy... the snake hisses his voice echoes through the vast empty caravans. “Have you changed your mind, little one” the snake imp rises behind him. his cowboy hat over his eyes. Blitzo grits his teeth, than shrugs what did he have to lose. Everyone was turning on him and he didn’t want to run into Verosika or Fizzorolli like this. “Ssstay... with me... just with me.. let your fears ssslip away, and trust in me”
Everyone I know who read more then one Anamorphs book in grade school turned into a furry. Just saying.
ANAMORPHS GANG
1/2 BLACK ANT 1/2 YUNG MORPHEUS
Interesting thing about this track. Morph and I had a recording session over a weekend one time. We banged out a lotta tracks on the Friday. Took a break on Saturday to work on songs independently and shit, then met up on Sunday for the final recording session. I had to go back to Tampa that Monday morning. We chattin and cyclin thru beats like “you wrote anything to this?” Finally we ended up on this Flylo beat from his Raw Cartoons. I was like I wrote to this, he goes me too. I was like naaa, no way. We ain’t talked about it, niggas just went into independently. This was the last track of the “YES WE ARE” LP. Niggas are just sittin on that one. Iunno if we finna ever actually release it, but I pass it around to people when Im tryna get beats and shit. Like our prototype cassette tape or somethin.
Anamorphs, how did this one happen?
I met Morpheus back in 2009 when our buddy Stio (dude who later helped me make my cassette covers), picked me up to go to a breakdance cypher. In the car, (besides Stio, cos he was driving lol,) was Morpheus, this Brazilian nigga, a bad bitch, and Frawgy Gunzo. Right off the bat Morpheus was like, “Yo you’re Madlib Jr!” I was Black Ant at the time, and my beats were a good point in 09. I was more consistent with makin dope shit. Anyway, that shit was cool, it was the first time I think I got that compliment, and I really looked up to Madlib too (still sorta do).
Then years go by, I think I get a phone call, or a text, or a message on facebook, I can’t quite remember, but this was summer 2014. Morpheus was looking to record some raps and needed a studio. To tell you the truth, I was sorta nervous at first when I said he could come thru, cos I’ve experienced too many niggas try to use my microphone and ultimately waste my time. I never heard him rap before, so iunno. I remember when I did talk to him over the phone a day before he showed up to the stu, I was pretty much like, really know your shit and know how to project your voice (not sure if I was that blunt, but lol maybe). He goes aight no problem.
The nigga showed up the next day, and I felt like I insulted him on the phone the day before. Morph was quick as fuck, he recorded his track in one take. Super fast, didn’t waste no one’s time. I was most impressed with how well he projected his voice.( I FUCKING HATE having to go back and amplify every lil piece of someone’s verse in audacity, cos he couldn’t just say his shit with confidence the first time. )I remember thinking this kid is brilliant. I helped him record some more tracks after that, then we ended up working on songs together. Then bam!, we did a quick 5 track ep in one sitting, December 2014. Then a few months down the line, in March 2015, we linked up and did a 10 track LP in just two recording sessions. Anamorph Boys don’t play no games. The track I uploaded today is from that LP session from last March.
The importance of linking up with Morpheus, I finally started to get into the habit of writing down raps. Maybe every now and then I wrote songs, cos someone asked me to, or maybe it would be an easy A for the class assignment. I never wrote intrinsically let’s say. The raps I did have on my hard drive, were mainly freestyles. Off the top the dome, no edit. Now I had to learn how to control that energy and discipline it. It’s cool. Knowing Morpheus was gonna be in the studio with his shit prepared, and ready to go, motivated me to get on my shit and be as efficient as I could be. It’s that synergy shit right there. I felt it before, when I was working with Buyable, trying to strengthen our beats.
This music shit is martial arts, man. You wanna be the best? You wanna get to the next level? You can try to do that shit alone, ok. You might see some results, and I saw some in my early formative years. But once I linked up with like minded-individuals, I saw my gains grow exponentially and more rapid than at other point.
From all the writing I was doing in my rhyme book, I became better at freestyling, and it became easier to express myself with rhymes, than at any point in my “career.” Iunno what else to call it. My path? This dojo shit? Legendary samurai swordsman shit? Combat Specialist? Big Boss Metal Gear shit? Anyway, that shit would not have been done, had I not link up with someone who was as or more serious about this shit than I was. I can tell Morpheus is having fun with this rap shit, and he really wants to do it, I sense more than me at times. I respect that, tremendously. The nigga doing his thing in Brooklyn right now, and I ain’t worried about shit, my boy got it on lock!
Expect more from us in the future.
Peace
When you a pug
